First billed set in the books 🫡

EXOVOID last night, Round Lake. Laptop rig, USB stick, their first event ever.

Shoutout @boooomboooox for the slot and the trust. Lineup was stacked: @_elrokero, @__darlyne, @rroqqy, @andandy0, @arachnekittiee.

Room was packed wall to wall, next one’s gonna need a bigger space 🔥

New wave of dance music building in the suburbs. The rest of the lineup had the room moving to sounds you don’t usually hear out here, and the momentum is only going up.

Big love to @rroqqy, my USB stick didn’t fit his MacBook and he ran out to grab an adapter without hesitating 🫡

Fed me for free too, these DJ perks are unreal 😅

I’m ready for round 2 yall

A couple of my favorite transitions from a hardgroove set. enjoy! by @raidtheairwaves

Had a great time playing open decks at Masada on Monday. The system there is amazing. I was stunned by how clear and full the music was.

Met lots of cool people. Shoutout to @olah_sound for recording my set after ripping his bass set. @nano.dsst laid down a bomb tech house set, and @mrmexican gave me a run for my money with his own funky percussive hardgroove set, putting people on to this wildly underrated subgenre so rare to find in Chicago clubs. Very serendipitous that we’d be playing such similar styles on the same night at the same club!

Shoutout to @thegeekafterdark for pulling up too. Dude loves supporting local talent.

Shoutout to @industrymondayz @masadachicago @moremosaicevents @shadi_ramli for the opportunity, I had a blast!

This summer, I had the opportunity to mix at @openflowchi! It was my first time DJing in public, and I had an absolute blast!! 🔊🖤

Huge shoutout to @shynem_ and @scout.sound for giving me the opportunity to get behind some club CDJs and learn the ropes.

Special thanks to @lenasdjsidequest for taking these pictures and saving me with her USB when mine wouldn’t load 😭 Unfortunately, I don’t have footage of our B2B, but it was easily my favorite set!

@champagnelane.music is in the first vid! Go check out his psytrance stuff. I was dancing my ass off during his set at Logan Square Skate Park 🔥

Much love to everyone who made it such a memorable experience. Here’s to many more! 🖤 by @raidtheairwaves

throwback to a few weeks ago — started with a pre-show the night before, then a hard techno rave at an abandoned psych ward that got raided by cops 🫡

you might’ve seen the viral video of cops grouping up a bunch of people in clown makeup… yeah, I was there lol

roamed the creepy ass ward with a killer clown

one slide is dark for a reason , that’s us huddled in the dark for like 20 minutes after the lookouts spotted police

Last slide is the viral tik tok

crazy night

@alignment.ofc is on their redemption arc. They are running a part 2 at @magoos_bar to make up for this one that got popped on November 14
