Today is Juneteenth! An important holiday in the United States that celebrates the symbolic end of slavery as the Civil War ended on June 19th, 1865. Although slavery was officially outlawed 2 years ago on January 1st, 1863 the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. This did not stop people from illegally owning enslaved people and unfortunately, African Americans were still enslaved for a while after this.
In the modern day, we use this day to come together as a community and celebrate. It’s also a day used to uplift black creators and talk about current issues that are affecting black people.
This collaboration was created to highlight black creators who are marginalized in the cosplay community due to our race and skin color. by @railabeouf

I worked super hard on this cosplay and it was a lot of fun to wear - some bumps here and there but it was worth it 💪🏽 Shinsou was super fun, I think he’d be even more fun to wear at a con like AWA !
I’m happy to see BNHA making a return to cons ^^ I sadly didn’t get enough photos but guarantee I will likely be putting him on at home and taking photos myself lol taken in Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center by @railabeouf

The thing about genshin cosplays is they’re made for twinks with smedium 🍑s … which (un)fortunately is perfect for me - but if I so much as flex I’m popping Tf out of this shirt 🤡

Anyway I tried on the fabrics and will save the accessories to try on later cuz there’s so manyyyy. Kaeya my love, you’re worth it, though 😔💕

MomoCon was such a blast and I keep looking through photos and just falling in love all over again. It’s my first con back in 3 years and god I missed it and can’t wait to get back in the con scene. Hisoka was the first cosplay I’ve made a shirt of and it was .. interesting! I learned a lot and can’t wait to be him again! I’m very proud how it came out honestly there was so much trial and error and I did most of the cosplay in a few days flat 💀.. I met so many lovely people I do genuinely hope to see again! I can’t wait to make new con friends soon ..
my next is ANYC and I’m ngl.. I’m more excited for Katsu— I have a secret GI cosplay I’m working on w someone .. Guess who I’m being and win a prize 😈⭐️ no hints!!!

Gender is a spectrum and I feel like I’ve gone through the wheel too many times to count. 🤸🏽✨

Anyway, happy coming out day to all! From your friendly neighborhood Panromantic/Demisexual, Demiboy who sometimes just says I’m non•binary alone to make things easier — but I’m like 80% boy on a good day and 20% [redacted] other times. Cheers!
Please always remember there is NEVER pressure to come out today, do it when you’re comfortable and safe. You are loved no matter what. Gender and sexuality are fluid, you are you, and that’s beautiful. Don’t let anyone try and dim your light.

🎃✨Happy Halloween !! ✨🎃

I didn’t have a lot of plans today unfortunately so I just dragged myself out the house in Tanjiro and tried to find something fun and safe to do. No avail, mostly me wandering NYC aimlessly for a couple hours lol. I did most of my Halloween adventures Friday and Saturday I guess.

I looked hot, though, so I can’t be 100% disappointed. 🤪 Did yall do anything fun for Halloween this year? What did you dress as? by @railabeouf

... I am SO glad I got to participate in #blackfaeday, albeit I am a day late, BUT I honestly had so much to do and lost track of time! By the time I finished it was Midnight lol. I’m proud of how this came out— it was a closet plan since I didn’t have anything planned, really. And when I did, I didn’t have an outfit, truly! I got this new jacket and it matched my horns, so I HAD to incorporate them absolutely.
And yes, merfolk ARE FAE!! 🦭
One I found out I could make my hair float like water I HAD to do this look.
It works perfectly cuz it’s also #mermay !!!
I hope you guys like it!! I might draw them later..

Can’t wait for this to be an every year thing. Keep celebrating black magic. ✨🙏🏽🤎🖤
