These 17 photos still can’t capture everything that unfolded on the 17th last year. Performing my arangetram in the very space where my Bharatanatyam journey began in 2012… life truly came full circle.🧿

I may not remember every detail, but my body remembers every beat, every breath, every movement the moment I hear the music.

To my family, thank you for standing by me through every high and low, for dreaming this dream with me.
Amma, this one will always be yours.💗

Eternally grateful to my gurus, Anand sir and Jaya ma’am, for guiding me and literally holding my hand through every stage of this journey; for shaping me with patience, grounding me in discipline, and moulding me into the dancer I am becoming.

For as long as I can remember, Pandharpur has been a quiet longing in my heart. A place I just wanted to experience and be in. When I presented the abhang सावळें सुंदर रूप मनोहर as part of my margam at Asthika Samaj this May for their Ram Navami celebrations, every movement felt like an echo of that deep desire. Woven together so beautifully by my gurus and passed down to me, dancing to this abhang only deepened that quiet pull within.

I held onto these photos to share today, on Ashadhi Ekadashi. Looking back, the real blessing was not just being able to offer this piece on stage. It was what happened just a few days later, when a sudden call paved the way for my visit to Pandharpur.

Sometimes, the art leads us right to where we need to be. Happy Ashadhi Ekadashi. 🙏✨

As 2025 comes to an end, I’m holding a lot of gratitude for the moments that shaped me this year — moments of growth, discipline, waiting, and quiet joy. Before stepping into the new year, I wanted to share a few of these close, personal milestones. None of this would have been possible without the guidance of my gurus, @anandsatchidanandan sir and @jayanand09 ma’am, and the constant support of my parents.

• Third Prize – Mulund Fine Arts
• Second Prize – Sri Shanmukhananda’s Annual Music & Dance Competition
• First Prize – BSKB Gokul Temple, Sion
• And something I’ve waited all year for — receiving my B Grade from Doordarshan Kendra

No filters. No finesse. Just the raw ritual of rehearsal. Breath syncs with tala. A thousand corrections, a hundred silences. Before the applause, before the anklets sing, there’s this. This behind-the-scenes glimpse is not just rehearsal; it’s ritual. It’s where tradition is tuned, expressions are etched, and the soul of the art is rehearsed into being.
