Last Friday was an incredibly special evening for me ❤️Unlike other performances I’ve curated, I have to say I wasn’t distractingly nervous on concert day. Perhaps that’s because I knew ~Chamber Music on Jay St~ was something I was meant to do and ready to share. No nerves, only a lot of love: I felt like I had already “won” before I played the first note. Thank you🫶🏻 to my network of friends, family, and students (Early Scholars)for helping me pull everything together. Thank you to my quartet mates @camanaibratsche @raina.arnett @holly.workman.violinist for being so DOWN and so freaking musical and humble at every point. Thank you to St James Basilica for hosting and trusting me to bring music to the space. Thank you to my audience members and sponsors @karencubidesagency for believing in me and lighting the beginning. And, thank you to my parents for guiding me and showing me how to believe in myself at every turning point 💗 Photo credit: @percyja777 Concert 1/4 done ✅ 🎃See you on October 10/29 for the second concert. It’s going to be a spooky one: Schubert “Death and the Maiden” and Janáček “Kreutzer Sonata”quartets. #chambermusiconjayst #phdmusic #brooklynmusic #stringquartet #nycmusicians by @raina.arnett

Welcome to dazzling 1920’s New York. You’re hanging out at your friend’s house and you spot Monsieur Ravel from across the room chatting with Gershwin about jazz. A string quartet begins to play his piece to get his attention… To find out what happens next, come to @brooklynmusicschool on March 30th at 7 pm to immerse yourself in the universe of this famous Parisian in America!
