Why does talking about money feel so taboo?! So I’m breaking the stigma and sharing my September spend. 💸

If you’ve been avoiding looking at your statements… this is your sign 👀

I finally sat down and went through EVERYTHING I spent in September. Every meal out, drink, Uber, random little purchase… all of it.

Because you can’t really figure out where you’re going if you have no idea where your money has been going 😅

No shame. No guilt. Just getting VERY aware of my habits so I can make some changes.

Andddd after seeing these numbers… October is officially a LOW SPEND month!!!

27 out of 43 bucket list items checked off!!! ✅

This summer made me fall in love with Chicago in a whole new way. I learned how much I enjoy exploring on my own, but even more than that, I loved how many of you were down to join me for an adventure along the way 🥹🤍

Old friends, new friends, planned adventures and very spontaneous ones… somehow every single one turned into a memory I’ll keep forever.

As for the 16 we didn’t get to?! Some are officially moving to the Fall Bucket List and the rest are just early prep for Chicago Summer 2027 ☀️

To the girl that cried often when coming home because she felt disconnected from herself and her life.

She spent so long fighting for a relationship that she barely recognized herself anymore. She felt lonely, exhausted, and empty. She was unsure whether she was unhappy with her life, the relationship, or herself.

She knew she wasn’t showing up as the version of herself she, or a partner, deserved. Not because she didn’t care, but because she had nothing left to give.

Because love didn’t always mean staying. Self-love meant being honest about what was costing her peace, her energy, and her sense of self.

And slowly, she started choosing herself again.

She found her way back to the things that made her feel alive. She began creating a life that felt like hers, filling it with joy, freedom, and the little moments she had forgotten she was allowed to want.

This life is a love letter to the girl who thought her spark was gone forever.

THURSDAY — pet sitting, work + a Sox game ⚾️
Made it a mission to taste my way around the park…

FRIDAY — 5 mile run, Frosty Friday jump, work, 9/11 Tower Challenge, Bellevue ➡️ Dublin’s
And somehow ran into the Talk Zones guy… iykyk 😂

SATURDAY — an aggressively hard HYROX class, jog home and then a boat day 🛥️

I know so many women in my life doing the damn thing solo ✨

Paying the rent. Building careers. Taking care of themselves. Making the decisions. Creating homes, routines, friendships and lives they’re proud of. 🥹

Climbing 110 flights of stairs in honor and memory of the heroes of 9/11 and every life lost that day. 🕊️🇺🇸

110 flights represents the full height of the World Trade Center towers & the exact distance first responders courageously climbed carrying heavy gear. Adding extra weight this year was just a small reminder of the immense strength and sacrifice shown on that tragic day.

The date on the calendar passes, but the gratitude doesn’t. Whenever you decide to take on this climb, carry their memory with every step. ♥️

Day Trip to New Buffalo 🚗

First time in Michigan!! Rented a car, had no real plan and somehow ended up with the cutest little day.
