Very excited to announe that Zach & Friends is coming to Evergreen in a couple weeks! We’ll be jamming a couple sets of fun tunes at one of my favorite venues @cactusjacksevergreen . Once again I’ve put together an all star lineup featuring a few of the finest musicians in the Front Range jam band scene. 🎸

Thrilled to have the impeccable Edwin Hurwitz joining me on the bass again! It’s a true privilege to jam alongside @edwinhurwitz at these shows. He is the grooviest wizard of the low end I’ve ever met. Watching him play always makes me smile and I’m very honored that he’s been the most consistent member of this project, joining me for every show far.
Everyone’s gonna be feeling good cause we have the doctor in the house. Paul “Dr. Poz” Cohen @paulcohen22 will smooth out the sound and add some jazzy flair to our jams with his saxophone! I met Dr. Poz last summer at the first Zach & Friends show and he’s quickly become one of my favorite musicians to jam with. 🎷

Very excited to have Logan Green on guitar and vocals. @lgreen_jams and I used to play together every week. Looking forward to jamming with him again!
Last but certainly not least, Mike Dooley @kaleidosoulsation on drums will keep y’all dancing and keep us all together. I’ve played a couple shows with Mike recently. He has great style and feel!

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “Never miss a Sunday show” and that really applies here. This is a show you don’t want to miss. So make sure you come out to Cactus Jack’s in Evergreen on March 1st at 3 PM to boogie with us for a few hours! 🎹 by @rainbowfullofsounds

Thrilled to announce my first show of 2026! After two epic nights in Louisville this past summer and fall Zach & Friends is finally coming to Denver. We are excited to be the first group to play Shakedown Sundays at @twomoonsmusic ! I have assembled another killer lineup stacked with some of the best musicians from across the Front Range jam band scene!
Joining me once again, one of the most incredible musicians I’ve ever met, @edwinhurwitz on bass. I always have such a blast jamming with Edwin and watching him lay down the funk. Very grateful he’s joined for every Z&F show so far! Also returning from our last show Miranda Rosalie @wooksnooki will round out the sound with her lovely voice. Returning from our first show Dr. Poz @paulcohen22 will be adding smooth jazzy vibes on the saxophone.
Excited to have a couple new friends joining for the first time! After watching him keeping the beat many times over the years, I’ve been wanting to jam with @joelzeiner for a while. So I’m very happy to have him joining on drums this time around. Also looking forward to jamming with @tylerarnottmusic for the first time. His guitar and voice will make our jams soar.

Getting proggy with @freewillunitmusic at @cervantesmasterpiece last week! So cool to rock out on that stage after seeing so many legendary musicians play there since my first trip to Denver. We’ll be playing at The End in Lafayette on Saturday. The group is recording a live album and video at that show. I’ve brought together another killer lineup for next week’s Zach & Friends show. So excited to jam with this supergroup featuring great musicians from all the best local Grateful Dead and JGB cover bands!

A couple friends are returning from last time. Edwin Hurwitz from @shakedown_street_band joins us again on bass! Edwin is one of the most incredible bassists I’ve ever seen. Always a great time playing music with him or watching him with Shakedown Street. Also joining us again is William Spear from @youngdeadband on drums and vocals. I’ve filled in with Y&D once and recently saw them at the Fox Theater. They play with great energy and they’re all fantastic musicians! William is an exceptional drummer. I always appreciate a singing drummer too.

Joining us for the first time on guitar and vocals is Evan Natoli also from Young & Dead. I met Evan at a Phish show after Dylan Teifer told him about me and wound up playing a gig with Young & Dead the next day! He plays with a vibe similar to early-mid 70s Jerry. Really looking forward to jamming with Evan again. Also joining us for the first time on vocals is Miranda Rosalie from @breadbox.band and she’s recently been playing some shows with Dave Abear’s Very Jerry Band. Miranda is an amazing singer and really nails the Donna style! I saw her with VJB recently and knew I had to invite her to the next Zach & Friends gig. She has a great vibe on stage and I’m looking forward to harmonizing with her.

Here are some highlights from recent shows I’ve played with @builttolastcolorado and my new group Zach & Friends. I know a lot of my recent posts have been about gigs. I’ll try to post some other cool stuff from this past summer soon. It’s been a crazy few months, but music has continually been the best part of it and gotten me through the rough times. Thank you to everyone that comes to my shows.

July has been a really fantastic month of music. One of the most amazing musical months of my life so far. I’ve had the privilege of performing @gratefuldead songs with 5 different bands across Colorado this month! I’ve also seen some really incredible shows between these gigs. We are so lucky to have so many great venues and awesome shows out here.
The good times keep rolling and the music never stops. 3 more shows the next 3 days. Sitting in with @drumsandspaceband tonight at @thecourtyard303 featuring another special guest Peter Czolowski from Shakedown Street! Private event tomorrow with @builttolastcolorado and then @cactusjacksevergreen on Saturday afternoon with BTL!

Get the party started early on Sunday January 26th with Built to Last’s FREE @billystrings preshow at @thegrateful.gnome! The Gnome is less than 15 minutes away from Ball Arena. We play from 3 PM to 6 PM, doors at Billy aren’t until 6:30 PM.
A big advantage with a stadium show is most tickets are for reserved seats, so there’s less of a rush to get to the venue early and stand in line outside in the cold. Enjoy a nice afternoon with tasty food, fresh brews, and a couple sets of good ol’ Grateful Dead in a chill intimate venue before Billy melts your mind at the big stadium show! by @rainbowfullofsounds
