Maxon was one of my favorite artists to work with and link with. Always asked me how I was doing and genuinely cared, never had an ego with me. We shot this episode back in June on his birthday, even got him a cake 😭🥲 We really stopped doing this series altogether, but we thought he’d want this to see the light of day, so we knew we had to drop it. We miss you Maxon ❤️ by @rainbowsafterain

On November 16, Mason Reyes passed away. He is survived by his mother, sisters, daughter, and best friend Zay. We ask that you please respect their privacy moving forward.

Out West was the final full-length visual Mason completed. He was deeply committed to his craft and proud of the music he was creating. More than anything, he wanted his voice to be heard and his work to be appreciated for the effort he put into it. Honoring that work and sharing it thoughtfully is our focus moving forward.

Mason’s album will be released in the summer of 2026. It includes some of his most personal songs, and we are honored to share it as a reflection of his artistry and vision. In addition to this album, he left behind a significant amount of unreleased music. Where it feels true to his wishes, we hope to continue sharing more of his work in the future.

In the years ahead, we intend to host an annual benefit concert dedicated to suicide prevention, with the goal of raising awareness and providing support for those who are struggling. Additionally, we will be establishing a foundation for men’s mental health in his name.

We’ve created a new account, @rainbowsafterain, where Mason’s legacy will live moving forward. This page will be used solely to share this final project, after which all updates will continue on the new account. We encourage you to follow along there as we continue to honor his work.

Mason’s story reminds us of the importance of empathy, kindness, and checking in on the people in our lives. Thank you for being here to celebrate his life and to help carry his legacy forward. No matter what, there will always be rainbows after rain. by @rainbowsafterain
