I am incredibly happy to introduce you the newest audio tale in @rainbowspace.app inspired by @hasanofamman life story 🤩

While adult literature has seen acclaimed works like This Arab Is Queer (in which Hasan Kilani contributed as an author), children’s media has lacked relatable, age-appropriate narratives honoring these intersecting identities.

Hasan Kilani’s real-life work spans human rights advocacy, supporting LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers in the South West Asia (Middle East) and globally, and writing on queer Arab feminist politics.

Translating that lived experience into a children’s story allows kids and families to learn about identity, community, and standing up for oneself through an authentic, grounded lens.
