Hey IG friends! Anyone a Patches Pal growing up? I don’t remember exactly how this occurred, but my brother and I got to be in the JP Patches show when we were kids. We are the two in shorts. I’m the one jumping for some reason. We were all likely jacked up on sugar, as I recall they gave us all these giant Sugar Daddy candies that were the size of a paddle (or at least seemed that big as a kid).
I used to watch the JP Patches show every day as a kid. As an adult, I saw JP Patches emcee many Seattle events, including the two sold out nights for Soundgarden at the Paramount Theater in 1992 (Badmotorfinger Tour). I also got to introduce my kiddo to JP Patches when JP was at a Summer event in Shoreline in the early 2000s.

So many changes in college football over the last few years. I won’t make a ton of old man comments, but I will say that having the Apple Cup playing in the first weekend of September versus the end of November is hard to get my head around.
All that said, I hope this is a good game between the Dawgs and the Cougs. And of course, GO DAWGS!!

Vinyl Record Tuesday! Is that a thing?? Apparently it is for me. I just received the new Waves Crashing release In The Blur. I’ve already been enjoying this on repeat digitally, but now I have it on gorgeous blue vinyl. And as an added bonus, the band threw in a Waves Crashing guitar pick. If you have not checked out this amazing PNW Band from Olympia, WA you need to get on it. They are also fantastic live.

So…. I am no Pinball Wizard, but tonight the stars aligned….
Playing Monster Bash, I reached 42,245,960 which scored me a free game and a match for a second credit! 😮
Playing the next two credits I only reached 10MM, but did get another match.
Scores went down from there.
I guess you need to quit while you are ahead… 😂😂😂

An amazing night of live music with my buddy @ericbrock. The 20th Anniversary of Band Of Horses album Everything All The Time. Sera Cahoone opened the evening with a quick set, then BOH played the entire album and another set of songs from their catalog. Absolutely epic!! Thank you @bandofhorses for an amazing evening!!

Awesome night of Seattle music @babayagaseattle last evening. The power rock group @kingyoungbloodmusic started things off. And local favorites @truly_band brought it home. Great seeing @hiroyamamotobass and @robert_morton_roth on the stage again. Truly even teased us with a new unrecorded track! Looking forward to seeing both of these bands hit the stage again soon!
