As Marcus Garvey put it, if you have no confidence in self, you are twice defeated in the race of life!

The first battle is in the mind.
Doubt kills momentum, and’ll make you feel defeated before you’ve even started.

“With confidence you’ve already won before you’ve even started.”

My first few weeks into uni have been amazing so far (Alhamdulilah!). It gets busy but it’s helped me with a lot of the things I’ve been struggling with lately. Here’s a little sample of the simplistic style I’m working on!
(Someone did comment on my backpack- and my folks say I look like a turtle 🐢

I recently showed her this doodle and explained that it was her. Although she seems to like the older version a bit better, I think she still approves! by @raindraws_007

Friendly fire back to @urbanja_arts !! XD (Didn’t realize we were on the same team but I decided to “strike back” lol

In all honesty I’ve not been very happy with my recent works, and I feel like this one was a bit rushed and sloppy. I’m still trying to get the hang of backgrounds as well, and would really appreciate any general advice I could get in regards to that :)
Cheers!

I forgot this existed and quickly finished it up!
It’s messy and I’m not quite fully pleased with it, but I liked the concept :)

A little skit I drew on my phone;
I’m trying to experiment with different workflows and my own comfort with drawing every panel. I intended to make a few more frames but decided to post this as is since it takes so long to color (especially given I decided to do this on a smaller screen).
I don’t wanna color like this again >:/ by @raindraws_007

I made this about two weeks ago in hopes it would be in the first few panels of my in the works graphic series, but I think I’m going to have to experiment some more before heading into this.
(Second page is my sad, half-blind boy. Made on computer on magma studios)

(Heads up, I’m out of town so it might take a bit, but I’m going to try and make a short voice over video about my project. And I may need some voice actors for the long run. Please wish me luck!) by @raindraws_007
