Our crew did such an awesome job making this come to life for @dandymenco! This “Peaky Blinders” inspired concept featured a full dock buildout in front of the LED wall. Nautical ropes, barrels, fish nets…they knocked it out of the park with this one! Once we finished the dock scenes we turned to another corner of the studio equipped with an old timey barbershop set. In addition to the hero video asset our team captured a day of stunning images to get Dandymen ready for a launch in Target! Stoked to see them on the shelves in the grooming aisle 🙌🏼 thank you @raindropagency and @umbrella_studios_sd. Photos by @westcoastcarr 📸 by @raindrop_tom

Creative Brief: 60s ad featuring celebrity talent and a bathtub in the woods…oh and you have to shoot in January. Solve: use an LED wall in the comfort of a studio, complete with a custom forest set! If you’re sick of fighting the elements, book our LED wall studio! It’s 34 feet wide and 14 feet high. Forest set not included (but let us know, we can offer production design too) DM for more info or to book a tour! by @raindrop_tom
A campaign fit for the gods! We re-imagined our “Not a Myth” theme for Native and took our talents to Mt Olympus. From the launch of their new Liquid Hand Soap, to Hair Care, Body Wash, and Deodorant Spray, we covered a lot of ground! We had a lot of fun with our fantastic cast of gods and goddesses, filming on our brand new huge LED wall in our studio (available for rent, BTW!), playing with variations on the jingle, and some fancy visual effects magic! A few months ago I decided to try my hand at the @doritos “Crash the Super Bowl” contest. I owned most the equipment I would need so I could do it for relatively no money. In a wave of inspiration I had an idea and wrote a script in 10 minutes. After that I spent my nights and weekends developing it, making storyboards, boardmatics, and finally getting it to fit into 30 seconds. I asked my good buddy @mikelangsdale if he’d be game to act in it, and he agreed! My living room became our set and we put in 3 nights of work, ate a ton of Doritos, cleaned up even more (I still find them in random corners of the room) and had so much fun. My loving wife @mindioh not only made space for the creative endeavor, but helped with some of the more difficult shots (throwing chips, moving the robot camera). She also voiced the Ai and the baby. My son controlled the RC car and hit the jump perfectly! It was a family effort and I love how it turned out. We were bummed we didn’t make the top 25 but it was super fun anyway. Maybe next year! by @raindrop_tom
It’s here! Our Super Bowl spot for @justspruceit is live! We took our creative to the next level at @raindropagency, so excited to finally see it come together. If you live in Tucson, Dallas, Austin, or most of the southern United States you’ll see it live 🤩 really proud of our team for dreaming big and hitting this out of the park, and so thankful for the amazing partnership with Spruce and @bahamenmusic. Now you know who let the dogs out 🎶🐕🐩🦴 Thank you to our wonderful production & post partners @circleproductions @millchannel @limestudios.tv by @raindrop_tom
Spent a couple days in LA last week doing some audio mixing with @limestudios.tv - what started as an amazing day full of hope and promise soon turned into one of the most strange and saddening days. As we worked through our massive list of work, the fire started. We had a clear view from the third floor deck just outside our studio window. We didn’t know what would happen, how dangerous it would be, or whether we’d be able to keep working…so we pressed on until our session was over. The fire was merely blocks away by the time we wrapped. The hotel we booked in Marina Del Rey was very much an evacuation center that night. Hundreds of displaced people with their pets took refuge while the winds kept picking up. Despite how hopeless we felt, we did our best to sleep that night. The next morning we made our back to Lime. Their team of consummate professionals kept the train rolling and we pushed through the work, all the while checking the fire updates throughout the day. We were doing our best to keep a good attitude despite the horrible circumstances. For the team photo we were all smiles, but the mood before and after was indeed somber. My heart goes out to all the families affected by this tragedy and the brave firefighters giving it all they have. 4 years ago we were on set for our first Super Bowl ad. While the rest of the nation was melting down, we were doing our best to focus on the task at hand: introducing the world to Dr Squatch. Sure, we’d already done a ton of work together and established a great online presence, but the Super Bowl is a whole new audience. We knew this would most likely be the first time they’d ever heard of Dr Squatch. Our team decided to make an ad featuring the “greatest hits” of the YouTube ads we’d already created. We took the shower curtain opening, the iconic line “you’re not a dish, you’re a man”, and used tried-and-true USPs. The result was a spot that achieved our goals of presenting the brand in an entertaining way, laying out the problem with the competition, and giving the solution, along with the emotional benefits of using Dr Squatch. Years later this is still a career highlight! 🙌🏼I’ll never forget the out of body experience of seeing it on live TV following a 2 minute drill by Tom Brady. Thanks @raindropagency for the opportunity to direct this! New work alert for @raindropagency! Starting 2025 off with a bang 🙌🏼 and this TV spot for @shopsimplemodern. We packed so much good into 30 seconds: set up the problem, offered a solution, multiple SKUs, diverse cast of ages and ethnicities, 9 locations, and even fit in a company cause! Hope you like it 🤩 by @raindrop_tom
