Since early last year, my motto has been: “if I am crying, I create.” Honestly 10/10 coping skill.
Enjoy more “rainforest goth” style. I have really been taking inspiration from 90s Whimsygoth/Hippie goth style. This allows me to add more colors I like and play with bangles, beads, and sparkles alongside the black. And yes, I realize the video seems all over the place and random. I like it. The sequence a lot of people use when making “outfit of the day” videos gets really repetitive. I feel like the way I made this is like the “adhd version” of those videos and it makes me happy. 😆

What a beautiful day, and without pain! I am so happy that my back has healed beautifully. I was afraid there was a permanent issue for awhile. Luckily, whatever it was, whiplash or maybe something torn, it has been better now for at least a week without medicine. 🖤 It just took a crazy long time! I’m going to try to be MUCH more careful because that was awful. 😞

My first tarantula here. No thanks. It was insanely fast. I only like the slow-moving, larger fuzzy ones. 😖 It was still safely captured and placed outside after I screamed my head off. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is my 14yr old cat, Tuna. He is the sweetest boy and very smart. He’s been with me through so many things and this was the biggest move he’s made with me yet! It was rough but I knew he could do it and leaving him behind wasn’t an option. We’ve also got a feral cat colony we’ve made friends with here if you’d like to go follow and see our little daily lives. @tuna.noodlecat

I just want to feel happy and at peace. It’s hard knowing you’ve consistently tried to do the right thing and somehow life keeps giving you handfuls of 💩. My least favorite part of it all hasn’t even been the pain and sickness, it’s been people being committed to misunderstanding me. Sadly I realized I’m still a bit naive sometimes. I wish I had a Time Machine more right now than I’ve ever wished in my life. Also community. I just would really like community. Luckily I know myself very well and my confidence in that person hasn’t wavered in years now. It’ll all work out, it always does, I’m just needing some deep rest and joy in my life and I am fighting my way to that, trying to figure out how I can have it when it feels like everything in life is preventing me from getting there. ✌🏼
