D23 is just days away!!! Can’t wait to see what news comes out of the Parks Panel on Saturday night!

My big wish list item would be an announcement that a retro 60’s theme coming to Disneyland’s Tomorrowland. I think we need to stop try to keep Tomorrowland up to date and futuristic and embrace its history. 💫

Today is the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party for this season!!! 🎃

This event is amazing for multiple reasons: unique character meet and greets, tons of candy and treats and my families favorite the short lines for all the attractions!!

Pro Tip: bring your own tote bag for candy the one provided is a little on the small side. by @raining_pixie_dust

There is a special magic that you can experience when staying at the Disneyland Hotel. It is full of history and the only hotel that Walt himself had a hand in planning.
It is not uncommon to come across characters in the Lobby and you have Goofy’s kitchen right on site!

It is the hotel I book most for my clients. I am a big fan of not leaving the Disney Bubble and it is just a short walk to the Monorail that will bring you right into Disneyland everyday.

Adults only trip? Trader Sam’s is the best bar experience that can be had at the Disneyland Resort. I highly recommend you stop by and order Krakatoa Punch and enjoy the simulated volcanic eruption that takes place.

When the original Swiss Family Treehouse opened in 1962 it had 300,000 plastic leaves that had to be attached by hand!

Between 1999 and 2023 it became Tarzan’s Treehouse.

I am very glad that in 2023 they reopened it as the “Adventureland Treehouse inspired by Walt Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson”

Next time you’re at Disneyland make sure you make the climb up the stairs to the top and check it out by @raining_pixie_dust

Welcome to The Office!!

This is a special room at Lamp Light Lounge that cannot be reserved. The only way to get it is to be the lucky chosen one.

The walls are covered with self portraits of and by Pixar Artist. It has its own balcony with a very unique view of Pixar Pier.

I hope one day you too will get to be the chosen one!

How do you escape from the heat?

For us staying hydrated and handheld fans are a must! We are trying neck fans on our visit next month, we’ll keep you posted on what we think!

The other ways we avoid the heat are: taking an afternoon break to go for a swim, enjoy a frozen lemonade and an A/C filled cruise on It’s a Small World.

If you can’t get back to your room for a break, other rides you can take a break from the: Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Great Moments with Mr Lincoln/The Magical Life of Walt Disney. Or if you are at California adventure Ariel or the Animation Academy can be great breaks from the heat as well.

Once we just hung out and played rock, paper, scissors in the Starbucks for a while. by @raining_pixie_dust
