Join @diamonddioratx and her dancers Saturday, August 15 for a chaos-filled brunch, show, and afterparty you won’t forget.

Doors open at noon as DJ @cysummusic sets the vibe while the Soul Food Brunch Buffet kicks off, which includes:

Last night, the State came under the cover of darkness and torched Austin’s rainbow crosswalks.

We’re not going to let that be the last word.

Join us Tuesday at 8PM at 4th & Colorado as we gather in solidarity and remind everyone that our community isn’t going anywhere.

We’ll hear from Austin LGBTQIA+ community leaders, elected officials, local entertainers, and community advocates. We’ll have drag, music, an open mic for anyone who wants to share their story, their anger, their hope, or simply stand in solidarity, community photos, and continued opportunity to leave your message on the new Rainbow Heart Murals along the north side of 4th Street.

This isn’t just about paint on a street.

It’s about visibility. It’s about our neighborhood. It’s about refusing to let our history and our presence be chipped away piece by piece.

So come be loud. Come be visible. Come be with your community.

Bring your friends. Bring your chosen family. Bring a candle, a sign, a flag, or just yourself.

Let’s fill 4th Street with more color, more love, and more people than ever before.

Last night one of the Austin LGBTQIA+ community’s emblems was stripped off our historic 4th street. Yes, we’re talking about the rainbow crosswalk. But Austin, don’t forget that this block has stood as a symbol of our pride, freedom of expression, and identities for many decades before there even was a rainbow crosswalk. No blowtorch or metal scraper will actually be able to remove the pride we continue to have or the symbolism we place in Austin’s LGBTQIA+ 4th Street. While this action reflects on the callousness and lack of understanding held by those in power, it has absolutely no impact on our perseverance and determination to give no ground in the fight for inclusivity and acceptance of who we are, just as nature intended us to be.
