We are so excited to say that Benjamin Levy (@benlevy220) will be working with us for our upcoming cabaret - “It’s Unlikely”❤️

Benjamin Levy is an award-winning musical director, orchestrator and singing teacher. His training includes MA in Musical Direction (Mountview), PGCert in Vocal Pedagogy (Voice Study Centre) and Ben is a Certified New York Vocal Coaching (NYVC) and The Singing Athlete™ Practitioner.

Ben won the 2022 Off-West End “Offie” Award for Best Musical Director for Godspell (Ye Olde Rose and Crown). Other prominent theatre credits include The White Handkerchief (BroadwayOnDemand, BBC 4), The Music of James Bond (Germany Tour), Ordinary Days (The Cockpit, 2022 Off-Comm Winner), The Boys From Syracuse (Upstairs At The Gatehouse) and West End Misfits (The Other Palace) as well as Grease and We Will Rock You for Royal Caribbean.

A highly sought-after singing teacher, Ben has taught extensively across the UK’s top-tier drama schools, including Mountview, Chichester Conservatoire and Italia Conti and maintains a thriving private practice with clients starring all over West End.

Having worked with Ben before, I simply cannot wait to work with him again - we’ve got some exciting things planned for this cabaret!!! by @raisetheroothprods

Hi! I’m Ryan - founder and producer of Raise The Rooth Productions.

Alumni of @capacollege, Previous @northernprepsquad Associate & Class of ‘26 Graduate of @ppacademymedia. When tasked with my “Creative Professional Portfolio” in my Third Year of Drama School, I really had to ask myself while I’m waiting for that first contract or in between work - what really do I want to do?

I started operating out of Guildford and the go-to gigging venue @pewsbar once a month, providing myself and my friends an opportunity to perform publicly alongside our training. Small gigs and concerts! We had a blast but I at heart really wanted to get to those bigger stages.

AND HERE WE ARE TODAY!

I can proudly say that Raise The Rooth Productions’ first ever London production at @theotherpalace - “Ey Up It’s Showtime” - SOLD OUT!!! Celebrating the talent of our county who have up and left to pursue a career in the performing arts including talent from all of the UK’s leading drama institutes coming together for this wonderful cabaret event. We brought Yorkshire to The Other Palace that night!

I am fresh off the back of two OUTSTANDING concerts at @phoenixartsclub as part of the “An Evening With…” collection where West End Stars get to talk (and obviously sing) through their astounding careers. With the incomparable @lizziebea101 and @georgecrawford_ taking the leads of these concerts - they were truly amazing!

Well… What’s Next?!

We cannot wait to announce our next events - there’s a lot of exciting things in this little brain of mine and I cannot wait to share.
