Sport Sunday consisted of a Half Marathon for Johnny before a game of footy in Brisbane for Gus, Jimmys first game back after having 3 plates put in his jaw 9 weeks ago and a game of AFL for Skipper in Coolum. 👌🏽 #luckywelovesport #raisingboys #sportlife by @raisingofthesons

@schoolsportaust AFL National Championships Unlocked 🎖️Awarded the School Sport Australia Pin being recognised as someone who embodies sportsmanship, and being an all-round good human throughout the Championships.

⭐️Awarded best player after a ripping game against Vic White. You understand the honour of wearing the Queensland jumper and watching your team first approach to your footy makes us so proud. You backed yourself. You got around your mates. You remained humble while showing tenacity and courage.
We love watching you play mate.

Do what makes your soul happy 🏕️🚤 by @raisingofthesons

This year has been huge as I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD, navigated full time study, part time work, and at a period throughout the year, 17 different after school activities. I’ve been supported by a wonderful husband and great kids but them too not without the trials and tribulations of work, study and learning while they develop into great humans. So when I stumbled across these words from @words_by_wilde_road I felt them to my core. ☺️

A GENTLE REMINDER AS THE YEAR ENDS
Life doesn’t move in straight lines or neat chapters; it moves in contrasts. This year brought things you would have chosen and things you never would have asked for, and somehow both belonged. The joy didn’t cancel out the hard moments, and the hard moments didn’t undo the joy, they sat side by side, shaping you quietly. What stretched you also strengthened you. What slowed you taught you where to look. And tucked into the ordinary, the small routines, the pauses, the in-between moments, there was more magic than you realised at the time. As this year closes, trust that nothing arrived without purpose and nothing was wasted. There are still good things unfolding, still light ahead, still reasons to believe that life is gently working in your favour.
