Is bittersweet to see the girls grow so fast. Halloween is coming in a couple of weeks and Christmas in a couple of months and see in them so much change they make.

Activity for the Month of August

They had such an amazing experience exploring dinosaurs, butterflies, minerals, electricity, aviation, the human body and so many other different science topics. This Science Museum truly makes an educational field trip worth it.

Did you know that your local public library has a year -around book sale? In my county DV, CD and Paperbacks are $1 and Hardcovers are $2. They raised money to bring more programs and activities for the kids.

Ways to support your local public library:

- Get a library card

- Check out books: up to 50 books

- Donate Books

- Attend Events

- Buy from their book sale.

First Day of School Breakfast Table

Each year we do first day of school breakfast and is becoming a first day of school tradition. This is perfect to calm down first day jitters or eat something special to fuel with energy and have a great first day of school.

Simple kids breakfast:

- Scrambled Eggs and Toast/ Fruits
- chocolate chips pancakes and muffins
- Ham and cheese croissants
- French Toast Sticks with berries

Learning Area
School Year 2026-2027

Their learning area has improved so much. I love how each year we can add a little bit more and how my daughters personalize their desk. This year the girls have new computer chairs thanks to their aunt. We have been struggling and people all around us have helped make us feel very blessed and thankful.

My girls continue thriving in online learning and as a learning coach we make sure they have everything they need to succeed at home.

Summer Reading & Writing,

Read out laud: The Land of Roar by Jenny McLachlan

This summer I really wanted more handwriting for my girls, we are in the technology era, where everything is via a computer using Microsoft Word. I noticed they have difficulty writing a simple summary of a book and spelling words. So this summer, this was my goal. For them, built on vocabulary and being able to summarize a chapter and start the next school year feeling confident.

The fun part is the drawing, they have to draw what they heard or find a picture in the book.

Craft Week

Day One

We kick off Summer Camp at home with Craft week with the girls. I have planned weeks of fun for the girls to enjoy making bag key chains, water bottle charms, scrapbooking, friendship bracelets, and ending with origami day and a lot of lemone.

Last Day of Virtual School!

It’s hard to believe how quickly this year have flown by. Watching both grow, learn, make friends, and become such amazing kind girls has filled my heart with pride. You both worked so hard this school year and have overcome challenges, and accomplished so much already.

To my oldest daughter:

Today, you aren’t just finishing another school year—you are closing a beautiful, unforgettable chapter. It feels like just like yesterday you were learning to read and now, here you are, standing on the edge of middle school, so grown up and ready to learn new things.

Looking back on this past year, I am so incredibly proud of the growth and learning you’ve achieved. You didn’t just learn from your teachers, you learned how to be resilient, how to stretch your mind, and how to be a kind, thoughtful friend. You tackled hard problems, embraced big challenges, and discovered so much about who you are. Watching your confidence grow has been the absolute greatest gift.

The next chapter waiting for you is so bright. Middle school is a fresh canvas. You are going to meet new people, discover new talents, and step into an entirely new level of independence. It might feel a little bit different, but remember: everything you need to succeed is already inside you. You are brave, you are smart, and you are ready.

Never lose your curiosity, your wonderful spirit, or your kind heart.
