It’s easy to scroll past posts about pregnancy and infant loss and not think much of them. It’s easy to see the words “miscarriage” or “loss” and not think about everything that comes with them.

Next week is a year since our second loss, when we lost a baby girl at 12 weeks. Nearly a year since Trevor found me unconscious on our floor from blood loss. Nearly a year since I held a baby in my hands, far too small for this world.

Before it happened to me, I didn’t think about miscarriage and pregnancy loss the way I do now. I didn’t understand everything that comes with losing a baby. October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. Remember that behind every loss is a baby who was loved, and a family who is grieving. by @raisingwilliams
