Day 4 of 6 days of RJ- Long Post This is a vulnerable moment for me. I decided to share because at 34 weeks RJ's movements decreased. On 1/4 I went to hospital stayed overnight and was sent home. Later that day I didn't feel many movements, So I went back to the hospital and they sent me home again after a few tests. I felt a gush of fluid and then went back to the hospital again where they "claimed" they tested and my water did not break. The next morning I went back and RJ failed her movement test. They immediately told me to remove my jewelry and be prepared for surgery. As I'm shaking like a dog, I was rushed to the OR to have RJ via c- Section.
I tear up as I write this because my husband said when she came out at first she struggled to breathe and as this video was taken , @c.s_215 and I weren't aware that I was losing blood while they were attempting to sew me up. RJ was sent to the NICU and I was sedated. 2 surgeries and blood transfusion later I was reunited with my husband. I didn't get to see Riley until the next morning. RJ is a fighter and I am so happy I trusted my gut and didn't listen to the doctors. As we celebrate RJ, tomorrow and saturday I thank God that he kept both of us. 💗

Mamas… are you okay? Because I am DROWNING a little. 😭

Every year September–October humbles me. I’m forgetting texts, forgetting things I JUST said I’d do, feeling behind on everything…and my recent adult ADHD diagnosis is making a whole lot make sense. 🫠

Pretzel Pals was a SUCCESS! 🥨💕
