Went to @raisu2340 in Kitsilano for our toddler's 2nd birthday dinner 🍣 I won't lie, I was nervous about how he'd do at a sit down Japanese restaurant. 2 yr olds and nice restaurants don't always mix. But he sat, he ate, and the staff were honestly so sweet with him. They even brought him a little birthday plate with a candle at the end. If you're a parent who gets stressed eating out with your toddler, this is your sign. It can actually go well 🥹 Save this for a family dinner in vancouver 🤍 #vancouvereats #yvreats #vancouverfoodie #japanesefood #kitsilano kid friendly toddler mom boy mom mom life toddler life 2nd birthday food finds by @raisu2340

Can’t commit to just ONE dish? Same 😂 So this $63 September Special Box at @raisu2340 is basically made for us. Available now until the end of September, and you get a little bit of EVERYTHING 👀 Uni chawanmushi, whelk, sea bream with monkfish, abalone, black cod, AND two of my favourites, the wagyu beef dishes 🥩🔥 And if you’re into sake, add the sake flight for just $25 🍶 You get to try different types in one go, which honestly makes this a pretty fun pairing option. Dessert is a chestnut flan 🌰 lightly sweet and a nice way to finish the meal. $63 for this much variety? I’d say it’s worth checking out 👀 [ media ] 🏷️ #VancouverFoodie #VancouverEats #RaisuVancouver #JapaneseFood #YVREats by @raisu2340
🍶 **Sake, snacks & a whole lot of reasons to make a reservation.** From **September 15th through the end of the month**, Raisu in Kitsilano is serving up a **Sake Grazing Box** 🍱 featuring **9 beautifully crafted dishes** designed with drinks in mind. Think a tempting mix of **meats, fish & vegetables**, with every bite bringing something different to the table — varied textures, umami, spice and layers of seasoning that keep your taste buds entertained from course to course. And let’s be honest… the plating alone is enough to get you hungry. 👀 The obvious move? Pair it with the **Premium Sake Flight**. 🍶 But don’t stop there — **ask the team for their pairing recommendations**. The right drink alongside the right bite can take the entire tasting experience to another level. 💰 **$63 per box** 🕐 **Available throughout the day** 📍 **Raisu | 2340 West 4th Ave, Kitsilano** And OH… **don’t sleep on dessert.** Their **Chestnut Flan** is a true must-try. 🌰✨ This one is only around until the end of September, so consider this your official **FOMO warning**. Once the month is over, so is the grazing box. **Make the reso. Get the box. Find your perfect pour. 🍶** #Raisu #RaisuVancouver #Kitsilano #VancouverEats #VancouverFoodie VancouverRestaurants YVREats YVRFoodie Sake SakePairing SakeFlight JapaneseFood JapaneseCuisine Foodie Foodstagram VancouverDining KitsilanoEats by @raisu2340
