For more than two decades, Badal Raja Company (BRC) (@badalrajacompany), the luxury wedding photography and filmmaking house founded by Badal (@badal.brc) and Raja Jain (@raja.brc), has been telling wedding stories through a thoughtful and cinematic lens. Their work captures not just the big moments, but also the subtle exchange of expressions and the energy of the celebration, turning them into films and photographs that stay with you for life

Manya + Deepanshu

In the golden hush of the Masai Mara, they started the most magical chapter of their lives.

@manyasureka @deepansureka

#IndianWeddingPhotography #WeddingPhotography #WeddingStories #BadalRajaCompany #BRC

The grasslands became the first witness of their love.

Some glances don't need translating.

Even the wind stopped to watch her spin.

Under a tree older than either of their families' stories, he started a new one.

A promise made where the land itself still remembers its first sunrise.

When the light fades, this is what's left standing. taken in Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya by @raja.brc

Some wedding photographs show you what happened. The best ones make you remember how it felt.

For over two decades, @badalrajacompany has built its visual language around the moments that happen between the rituals… the glance, the pause, the tear, the hand held a little tighter. With more than 1,000 weddings across 25 countries, their approach has always been less about staging emotion and more about being ready when it reveals itself.

From broadcast and documentary beginnings to some of India’s most celebrated weddings, the company has helped move wedding filmmaking from ceremonial documentation towards something closer to cinema.

Because, ultimately, the perfect wedding frame isn’t necessarily the grandest one. It’s the one that can take you back 20 or 30 years later, without needing any explanation.

Akhil & Allyson.

Two people, two worlds, and somehow a love that made everything feel like home.

From the quiet little looks to the kind of laughter that fills a room, their day was a beautiful reminder: love does not just bring two people together, it brings everyone they love a little closer too.

Here’s to choosing each other, in every season. 🤍

A wedding doesn’t mark just a moment in time.

It acknowleges the labour of love, in the hands that raised her, the people who watched her grow, the quiet moments that just exist, the details that have come together, and the faces that have known her forever.

And then, suddenly, she’s standing there, dressed for an occasion, that will change her world.

Some frames hold celebration.
Some hold nostalgia.
Some hold a little bit of both.

At BRC, each photograph holds a feeling and is delivered with love. taken in Delhi, India by @raja.brc

As a filmmaker, there are moments that go beyond the lens, moments that touch your soul. Capturing a bride leaving her family is one of those instances where the camera feels heavier, not because of its weight but because of the emotions it carries.

The laughter, the stolen glances, the tight hugs, and then the tears—it’s a bittersweet symphony of love and letting go. While filming, I find myself holding back tears, and during the edit, I relive those emotions all over again.

It’s not just a scene in the film; it’s a chapter of life—raw, real, and deeply human. This is why I love what I do. Through the lens, I don’t just capture moments; I honor them.
