….and just like that I’ve finished my last order. Fitting that it was a PMA design. If you’ve ordered from Rake in the past 3 years, I’ve printed every order on that heat press in my basement. Every tee to customer, rake army, mlb guys…..everybody! Sounds crazy and it was! I started in December of ‘17 as a side hustle and something fun while I was still a snowboard photographer. Jan of ‘21 I went full time and Jan of ‘22 started doing all the orders in my basement😵‍💫🧘🏻‍♂️

I’ve had a lot of incredibly nice DM’s, texts etc with people excited to see what I’m doing for the relaunch. I’ve sold the company, September will start a new era without me. I still retained some ownership, but the direction, day to day etc will be handled by the new owner. It should be a perfect fit as he is baseball 24/7! To all the people that supported me on this journey, thank you!! I especially appreciate the people that “got it”, that we were trying to do something different in the baseball lifestyle place. We’re the opposite of the ice cream designs and tried have our own voice. I’d be remiss if I didn’t shout out Mr @paulybagadonuts who absolutely crushed the designs for Rake. No one does it better!
Thank you again, thanks for the amazing ride!!

First and foremost, I want to thank God for this journey. This year I have really learned that through Him, all things are possible. Thank you to Shane “my brother” and @atlasendeavors for opening doors and creating opportunities I never thought were possible. To Coach Venia, Coach Jerry, Coach Noel, Coach Ken, and Coach Jeremy thank you for not only coaching me throughout the years, but for supporting me mentally, and becoming family along the way. I’m incredibly grateful for everything you have taught me. To my mom and dad, thank you for you always believing in me...even when I doubted myself. I truly wouldn’t be here without you. I’m super excited for this next chapter and ready to work harder than ever for Coach Walter, Coach Rooney, and Coach Hennigan and this program.
#GoDeacs 🎩 taken in Woodland Hiils, CA by @rakebaseballcompany

Coach JRod spent time with Pacoima Charter School’s 4th and 5th graders sharing lessons on confidence, discipline, and believing in the work.

A reminder to the next generation that the habits they build now — how they show up, how they treat people, and how they believe in themselves — matter far beyond the field.

Proud to pour into the youth and remind them that greatness starts with the little things.

For Mental Health Awareness Month, a reminder for every player:

Take care of your body. Protect your mind. Check on your teammates.

The game is mental too — and nobody should feel like they’re going through it alone.

California State University, Bakersfield baseball program is officially joining the Rake Army.

This one means a little more.

To see how far this program has come… and to have been there from the very beginning, it’s something I don’t take lightly. It’s truly a special honor to stay connected and now build something even bigger together.

CSUB has always been built on grit, toughness, and doing things the right way and that aligns perfectly with what Rake is all about.

We’re just getting started.

Welcome to the Rake Army. #GoodVibesSince2017 taken in Los Angeles, California by @rakebaseballcompany
