We have fun today reading our book @thesleepykid_book to Elani’s second grade class at @sa_harlem4 @successacademy this is a brief history of how we got our little project started and what motivated us to complete it. We both were a bit nervous talking to her class along with another 2nd grade class combined, but I had to be the adult 😂 This was a great experience and Elani will forever remember these memories! 🙏🏾🤞🏾 by @ralphie_112

So proud to announce that Elani and I are officially authors. This idea came from us reading bedtime stories every night, to her wanting to make up her own stories. She came up with the idea of a sleepy kid that falls asleep in random places, and I came up with the rhyme. It’s a great accomplishment to have a 7 year old author!!!Link is in the bio!

Proud so say that we did another successful book #readaloud but this time it’s for Elani’s whole school @successacademy ! Hopefully this could motivate those scholars attending that school to write up their own stories!! #thesleepykidbook #bookreading #storytime #linkinbio #kidauthor #whatsnext #goodreads by @ralphie_112
