Lorna & Chad | Portland, Oregon ⛰️🤍

This will always be the “what if” wedding I wasn’t supposed to document. A week before, I saw the bride’s bachelorette post and jokingly commented, “imagine if I shot your wedding…” At first, it seemed impossible—I was already booked across Northern California that weekend and planned to head home on Sunday.

But after two days of talking, it started to feel like it just might be possible. I changed my flights, rerouted everything, and after finishing a project in Napa Saturday night, I drove to San Francisco at 4am to catch the first flight to Portland. From there, it was a two-hour drive to the coast—arriving at prep with just 10 minutes to spare.

Normally, I’d never risk same day travel for a destination wedding, but this one reminded me: where there’s a will, there’s a way. And if there’s even the smallest chance of light, I’ll always find it. ✨

PS: I did both photo and video all by myself. 😉🎥📸

My last sunset…

Thank you, Guam, for always welcoming me back with so much love. Even when I feel like I don’t deserve any of it.

Every time I leave, I always think, “Maybe this is my last trip.” But somehow, a wedding always brings me back.

Thank you for trusting me with your memories, for your support over the years, and for always making me feel loved.
