Today marks 13 years in the Kids Gym and Entertainment profession.

From 6 amazing years at The Little Gym to 7 years of building SWAG Kids Gym, it has been an incredible journey of faith, growth, and purpose.

When I started back in 2013, I was honestly just trying to earn a full time job. I never imagined it would take me in this direction. What began as work turned into a passion and a calling to help kids build confidence, strength, and belief in themselves through fitness, movement, and entertainment.

I am grateful for every child, every family, and every team member who has been part of this journey.

13 years later and I still love stepping on that gym floor like it is day one.

The movement continues.

5 years ago today, I was sitting in a meeting with the Detroit Pistons, full of ideas, passion, and a vision that felt bigger than my reality at the time.

This month, that same organization will be inside of SWAG Kids Gym — not as a dream, but as a partnership come full circle.

That’s what patience, perseverance, and faith look like. The truth is, things don’t always happen when we want them to… they happen when we’re ready for them.

So if you’re in that season where it feels like progress is slow or doors aren’t opening — keep building. Keep showing up. Keep believing.
