POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

How tired he must be.
For a moment, the city can wait.

I was roaming the streets of South Mumbai on a rainy day when, while walking along the footpath, I noticed this gentle moment through the rain-streaked window of a taxi.

The water droplets caught the light, almost turning the glass into a curtain. Behind it, this gentleman was sleeping so deeply-completely uninterrupted by the noise, traffic and rush of the city around him.

I don't know how long his day had been, or how tired he must have been. But for those few moments, he seemed to have found his own little corner of peace.

Water is more than an element; it is sacred. In Hindu rituals, it becomes a medium for purification, prayer, and remembrance of ancestors.

MUMBAI, IN ITS ELEMENT !!!

Religion. Devotion. Chaos. Colours. Textures. Movement. Faith.Thousands of strangers moving together, carrying something deeply personal into the sea.
I wanted to photograph the people, the energy, the madness and the quiet moments in between, the things that give Mumbai its unmistakable character.

Ganpati Bappa Morya.
Until next time. 🪔
