Music has never been merely entertainment. For thousands of years, the Indian traditions understood sound as a way of refining perception, cultivating presence, and reconnecting with the rhythms of life. The Vedas are known as Śruti (“that which was heard”) reminding us that some forms of knowledge are not acquired by thinking, but by learning how to listen. This is the spirit of the Gandharva Veda: music as a path of harmony, beauty and inner transformation. And it is also the heart of Nāda Yoga. Not learning to be an artist or sing beautifully. Is the way of learning to tune our most intimate instrument (our own voice) In a world filled with constant noise, perhaps the deepest practice is not to make more sound, but to listen more deeply. Join our upcoming workshops in India. ✨October 20-29th 2026 ✨November 20-29th 2026 ✨March 20-29th 2027 If this path resonates with you, DM to share more. @eunoia.arte.cuerpo.y.voz @devotion_music_center @ram_joshi_devotion_music Thank you Om🕉️ #nada #yoga #workshop #rishikesh by @ram_joshi_devotion_music
Day 1 of a 10-part series exploring the fundamentals of Nāda Yoga Did the universe begin with a vibration? Science and spirituality have approached the origin of existence through very different languages. Modern physics explores the universe through energy, matter, fields and fundamental interactions. Sound, in the scientific sense, is a mechanical wave that requires a medium to travel. Yet, in ancient Indian philosophical traditions, we encounter the concept of Nāda Brahman (the understanding of sound as a manifestation or expression of ultimate reality) Here, sound is not simply something we hear. It becomes a doorway to contemplate the relationship between existence, consciousness and the cosmos. Are we speaking about physical vibration, or something beyond the limits of our ordinary perception? Perhaps the most interesting question is not whether science and spirituality offer the same answer, but what each can teach us about the mystery of existence. From sound to silence. From vibration to the Self. This is one of the explorations at the heart of Nāda Yoga. 20–29 November. Rishikesh, India. DM for more information about our Nāda Immersion. by @ram_joshi_devotion_music
What if, when you truly look and listen, something begins to open? In the tradition of Yoga, Brahmarandhra is known as the subtle opening at the crown of the head, symbolically associated with the expansion of consciousness and the recognition of our deepest nature. Through Nāda Yoga, we explore sound, voice, vibration and inner listening as a path towards silence and self-discovery. Because learning to listen is not only a spiritual practice. It is also a way of learning to live differently: more present, more grounded, and more deeply rooted in our own Being. Not seeking to become someone else, but remembering what is already here. A few moments from our latest Nāda Yoga workshop. A deep exploration of the voice, not to sing perfectly or achieve the right notes, but to discover how sound and vibration are experienced within our own bodies. In the Nāda-Bindu Upanishad, the practice of listening to inner sound is described as a path through which the mind gradually becomes absorbed in nāda, opening towards deeper states of meditation. Through the yogic understanding of nāḍīs and chakras, sound is explored as a subtle energetic practice. From a somatic and neuroscientific perspective, vocalisation, breathing and resonance can also influence our nervous system, body awareness and capacity to settle. How can our own voice become a doorway to stillness, presence and inner peace? With every workshop, we continue learning, exploring and deepening our practice, so we can share this knowledge with greater understanding and experience. Join us for our next Nāda Yoga workshop and discover the meditative power of sound. DM us for more information. 🕉️ by @ram_joshi_devotion_music

Is your voice a doorway to Bliss or atmAnanda? In nāda yoga the voice is one of the instruments given by the divine , our true nature . The ancient scriptures about nāda yoga and the deep spiritual science for self realization described poetically that the human’s body is like a sitar or a tanpura in wich vibration of sound is the vital energy passing through Nadis making posible our tuning from the physical body to the spiritual and subtles bodies.
