Lata Bomoh Ali x Lata Berembun, Hulu Langat : Summit
.
Came across this place recently in a follower's tik tok , I fell right away into the beauty of Lata Berembun and Lata Bomoh Ali.
.
The trekking here is not hard but it can be confusing due to many branching trail. Make sure you have guidance or else you might just get lost here. Water crossing is a lot too , so you can't have a dry hike.
.
However, Lata Bomoh Ali is deep and you can do cliff jumping ( an option if you are a good swimmer ) and for Lata Berembun it takes a few dangerous crossing but still doable. Life jacket would be safely recommended here and safety rope as well.
.
The place is beautiful and serene. Especially, Lata Berembun ; it just took me out of the world. I might return to Lata Berembun only to spend some extra time.
.
Just a friendly note, please whoever goes here; keep the place out of rubbish. I happen to saw rubbish along the way on the trail. Even water bottles are thrown away along with plastic wraps. This is a open place, so lets take care of it as collectively.

Bukit Arang, Selangor (560m): Summit
.
I have never know the existing of this place till @abraridris__ recommended this to me and @azimisam for a weekend hike. I initially wanted to do a chill hike considering my body is still wrecked from the previous hike 😵‍💫. Looking at the altitude of this peak, it was doable with pre existng gpx file 😏.
.
Doable changed into a total jungle warfare when we entered the trail. The pre existing gpx failed and the trail was badly over grown and covered 😵‍💫. It was only both of us , and the machete work began from the trail head till the peak 😵.
.
It took us 5hrs plus to reach the peak 😂. The battle was against thick rotans, hard ass bamboos and fully covered resam ferns 🤯. There were 3 sections we almost call it a day, but we pushed slowly.
.
Even the berup at peak was hiding behind the thick resam ferns. This was a tiring and labouring hike 🙄, but nevertheless it is hikes like that proves our real determination and will power at times. 💪🏻
.
I am resting because my whole body is cramping after such a long time 😂.

Gunung Chondong, Perak (707m): Summit
.
This is rare mountain near to Trans Slim trail and possibly entered once in a year ( maybe). It has more than one trail and took the less explored as it was the shortest 😂.
.
Nature decided that we had to be given challenges and hence a lot of machete work took place. The crazy part was the last 100m stretch was a vertical climb welcomed by bamboos and resam ferns 😵.
.
Despite the battle scars and challenges we found the peak and the old trigonometry structure is still standing. This was a well spent Malaysia Day and it was a hard day turned good.💪🏻

Gunung Besar (1749m) & Gunung Rejam (1478m), Perak: Summit
.
This was a 3d2n expedition and could be considered rare since many have never reached G. Rejam. The trail here was hard for G. Besar and hardcore for G. Rejam. We choose to camp at G. Besar peak for better rest and time management.
.
The route to G. Besar was overgrown with bamboos and rotans, that caused me a lot of trouble with a heavy load. I got tired just by machete the shit out of them and bending my ways into the trails. G. Rejam was worse; the trail was basically steep, rolling, slope maneuver and valley crossing. That tested my endurance heavily.
.
The weather was good and I followed strong crazy line ups. This trip is memorable and successful because of such line ups. Despite the odds, we survived and managed to summit both the peaks.
.
I gotta give it to @abraridris__ (Perak MGP Guide & Organizer & Porter & Chef) for managing a trip in this scale. Despite being a crazy most of the time with his stupid jokes, he managed the trip well. Kudos bro @abraridris__ !!!

Gunung Bujok, Perak (1548m): Summit
.
This peak was not in my list, neither I have heard of it. Trip was opened by PBP and I just joined it for training.
.
This wasn't exactly a hard trip but since I didn't carry load for almost 2 months, my muscle memories suffered a bit 😂. Besides that, the trail was only ascending from the starting point and it was super fun declaring camp site at the place you cannot walk anymore 😂.
.
Some machete work was needed but we were safe because another team entered before us. They actually connected this to GBB trail which was previously possible from Pos Kemar and Pos Dakoh. Thanks to that team, we summitted Bujok with very less hassle.
.
Another rare peak and a cut in the finger from the bamboo. I guess that's the gift from G. Bujok to take back home.
