Low effort. Look at me, I'm special.

The moment the incense goes on, the shoes come off, and the couch becomes the dancefloor.

When I started producing, signing with Pink Turban was at the top of my bucket list! I sent them many demos... until I finally got the YES! Two weeks ago, I dropped a 3-track EP with them: Mirage of Anubis and 2 versions of The Charmer (Original Downtempo version and an Ethno rework).

I produced Mirage of Anubis at the exact same time as Kasbah Fever! You can feel the same vibe. Kept this track on my computer for too long! So happy that its moment is finally here!

The story behind ‘The Charmer’ is even closer to my heart... During my very first gigs in Tulum, I heard some insane downtempo: much heavier than my usual style, with kind of psytrance basslines slowed down to 100 BPM! That energy immediately inspired ‘The Charmer’, which I produced as soon as I got back to the studio!

I absolutely love this track! It has been part of some really special moments for me and holds a unique place in my heart. As in the video on the first slide, it was on Vancouver Island in Canada, for Samsara Festival 2025! I loved it so much that I created a faster version to fit seamlessly into late-night sets, which became the 3rd track on the EP: the Ethno Rework. taken in Vancouver Island, BC, Canada by @rameff_

Mirage of Anubis EP by @rameff_ is out now on @pinkturban - Link in bio

RAMEFF makes his Pinkturban debut with Mirage of Anubis EP, three tracks fusing Middle Eastern melodies with deep, hypnotic beats. "Mirage of Anubis" leads with an infectious vibe, driven by hooky synths and vocals, "The Charmer" goes deeper with traditional street performance rhythms and heavy sub-bass, and its Ethno Rework closes things out with a higher-tempo version alongside gritty acid lines.

The French-born, Mexico-based producer brings previous support from labels including Sol Selectas, Buddha Bar, and Cosmic Awakenings to a release built for global dancefloors.

Life lately: Good Food, Books and Raccoons. 🦝

Loving the Mexican slow season, When everyone escapes, It gives me more time to create music, and focus on myself : more workouts, more long walks, better balance 🪲

Tracks I made over the last 10 days. Exploring faster tempos, having so much fun with my TB-03 and making more acid than ever, with a more minimalist and hypnotic approach, fewer ear candies and more focus on the essentials 🪲
