One thing I’m big on is “knowing your role”, and that includes for myself. It was never my goal or role to tell creatives how to create or what to create. My role was to align resources, information, and talent, to make it easier for creative professionals to build a career with their craft. So we created a company and a space to help make that goal attainable. It’s real easy to get lost in perfecting your craft that you overlook some key practices of functioning like a business. Most creatives are a system or two away from having the life they dreamed and worked for…

“I want to sound like me.”

@wtloverboy989 is carving his own lane out of Delaware raw emotions, raw vocals, and beats that give him space to pour everything into the mic.

What started with poetry turned into music built from real experiences: heartbreak, growth, peace, pain, and choosing to express it instead of holding it in.

His sound is still evolving multi-genre, emotional, honest, and different on purpose.

@chopnewman pulled up representing @historymixmusic and Blue Strip Mafia, bringing records like “Bacharach” to the stage.

For @chopnewman , the music is bigger than one sound. It’s boom bap, hardcore, collaboration, experimentation, and learning how to have fun with the craft while still speaking from real life.

His goal is simple: make music people can find themselves in the similarities, the experiences, the moments that shape you.

“My sound in one word? Nostalgic.”

@mavimauve came from New Bern, North Carolina, the 252, with music made to make people feel good, feel proud, and feel like they can do anything.

Raised around old school music and inspired by artists like Michael Jackson @michaeljackson , @thekingdream , and @brandy , her sound carries that feel-good energy with real songwriting behind it.

For Amavi, music is about connection and hearing people sing the words back, seeing them dance, and creating moments that remind people why they love music in the first place.

Her message to other artists is simple:
If you feel called to create do it. Big or small, start somewhere and keep going.
