NGC 6888, also known as the Crescent Nebula, is an emission nebula located about 5,000 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus.

Its distinctive shape is the result of a powerful stellar wind from a hot, massive star at its center, known as a Wolf-Rayet star.

This fast wind is colliding with and energizing material that the star previously shed in a slower wind when it was in its red giant phase.

The collision creates a glowing shell of gas and two shock waves, ultimately giving the nebula its unique form. by @ramihemil

The M57 Ring Nebula, also known as NGC 6720, is a well-known planetary nebula located about 2,300 to 2,500 light-years away in the constellation Lyra.

It formed when a dying, Sun-like star exhausted its hydrogen fuel and expelled its outer layers of ionized gas into space.

This glowing shell of gas, illuminated by the hot, contracting central white dwarf star, appears as a ring from our perspective on Earth.

M104, commonly known as the Sombrero Galaxy, is a stunning spiral galaxy located about 28 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.

Its distinctive appearance, resembling a broad-brimmed Mexican hat, comes from its brilliant white, bulbous core surrounded by a prominent, dark dust lane, which we see nearly edge-on.

This massive galaxy, with a central supermassive black hole, is a popular target for astronomers due to its unique and beautiful structure.

M51, famously known as the Whirlpool Galaxy, is a stunning grand-design spiral galaxy located about 23-31 million light-years away in the constellation Canes Venatici.

It's one of the most prominent and well-studied examples of interacting galaxies, featuring a smaller companion galaxy, NGC 5195, which is believed to be responsible for enhancing M51's distinctive and beautiful spiral arms through gravitational interaction. taken in Texas, USA by @ramihemil
