This is an AI photo of me in the pods on @loveisblindnetflix . Believe it or not I actually applied to be in the Denver cast (season 9) 4 times! Unfortunately, I wasn’t interviewed by casting directors, nor was I cast. 😂. However, I did meet at least 3 cast members at an event earlier this year. They were pretty awesome! Who knows, maybe @kineticcontent will someday return to Denver and cast some of us middle aged singles just like Brazil! One can hope, right?! lol. by @ramius_rostnikov

Today I decided to create an AI-generated photo on Chat GPT out of sheer boredom. So, I created one of me sitting next to @gerardbutler at a dive bar. I like his movies, especially “300”. And from what I hear he’s a pretty cool dude in real life. What I find interesting about this particular AI photo is that we are both holding bottles of light beer. In reality, I don’t drink beer. Last month Mom & I headed to Parker and ate at @gunthertoodys I wanted to dine here to help celebrate what would’ve been my Dad’s 73rd birthday. Dad loved Gunther Toody’s because it comprised 3 essential ingredients. Burgers, fries and shakes! Plus, 50’s music playing on a juke box. To help make this experience even more memorable was our server Johnny. He went above and beyond to give us the best service possible! His outgoing, energetic personality put a smile on my face during this time of sadness. I felt like I was talking to a friend even though I barely met him. It’s been a long time since a server made us feel right at home. Oh, did I mention he happens to be from Croatia? That’s right! His booming voice resonates with the entire restaurant, customers actually find him fun to be around. Maybe that’s why he gets great tips, I don’t know. All I can tell you is, the food was delicious, the service was great, and I walked out of there with a smile on my face. Confession: I’ve never been to an @ikea store in my life! I’ve only heard about the furniture, and seeing the stores driving past them. But I have never physically walked into the store before. Until this weekend! Mom & I eat breakfast at the cafeteria, which surprisingly enough was quite affordable!! It was also delicious. Then, we walked through parts of the store, looking at furniture, and accessories! I was surprised that there are no windows, or clocks. So, you can easily lose track of time as you’re wandering through. In addition, the store is so big. It is easy to get lost. If you don’t know where you’re going. The more you walk through, the harder it is to find the exit. But, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything because it was awesome!!😎 taken in IKEA by @ramius_rostnikov

This is the 3rd Father’s Day where you aren’t with us. And each year it never gets any easier… We adapt, we move on, we continue to try to live a full life. But every time Father’s Days, birthdays, and death anniversaries come, I’m reminded of the fact you’ve crossed the great divide and can’t physically be here anymore. And it hurts like hell! Most people don’t realize this but every time I’ve played Dad roles you’re the first person I think of. I draw upon experiences I’ve had with you so that the performances can become convincing. The Tempest being the most poignant of them all… Please know that you did your best. You raised some wonderful kids who went on to do amazing things! And yet, I know you’re looking down on us from the other side… We’ve had some great memories together. And that is what I’ll be thinking about today. Today, Mom took me out to celebrate my birthday @rockyardbrewing in Castle Rock! I ordered the 8oz Sirloin Steak and requested it be Surf & Turf. In addition, I ordered the sides be mashed potatoes & gravy, and sautéed onions & mushrooms. The dessert was 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, topped with chocolate and caramel on top of a chocolate chip cookie! Because it was my birthday, our server informed us it would be complimentary!!! It was a great birthday weekend! Special thanks to Mom for going out of her way to make it special! I’m so grateful to have taken time off to celebrate my birthday!
