Desert Warrior Spring 2026. You’ll want to see this on a huuuge screen. Epic by @ramseyfara

Desert Warrior is finally having its grand premiere at the Zurich Film festival tomorrow. What a wonderful and exciting time it was. But mostly it’s was the people (it always comes down to The People) there were men and women from 46 different countries who were All In with their whole hearts working for months-even years at a time. Creating magic and solving problems in the middle of the desert in a beautiful country that had never made a film before. The team had to solve problems where there was no infrastructure. There were creative geniuses especially the electrics, gaffers, cine squad, armors, carpenters, costumes, make up,FX, a sea of PA’s, sound, continuity!, producers, crafty, logistics, medics, stunt team, drivers, camel and horse men, location, and our captain oh captain his own self. What a freakin’ dream of a time it was. In Boca Al Lupo DWers! Congratulations to you all. by @ramseyfara

There are good days and bad days. Today was a mix. Thats my black car under the truck. That’s not my house. That is 100 yards down a hill from where parked my car. It’s totaled. I wasn’t in my car and nobody got hurt. I got that wagon when somebody totaled previous car. I guess “Thank you for your service” is the way to go. by @ramseyfara

Today’s moment of Zen by @ramseyfara

Lenard Petite 1953-2024
My life is richer, fuller, wider, deeper and funnier because of him. My artistic life started with him, in fact he saved me - from the standardized ego driven instructor brutality. He lead with compassion, creativity, curiosity, encouragement, and humor. So much humor. “Be a child! Be a clown! Be filled with wonder and awe. Have a vision! Imagine it! Go all in put yourself over the edge of the knife! Take the risks. Make mistakes! Because through the mistakes you learn to be YOURSELF. How you do anything is how you do everything so do everything you do as an Artist with a full heart!”. He was a True Teacher of the highest caliber because on top of all his humanity, passion and love, he taught me how to live my whole life as an Artist. And for that I am eternally changed and grateful.
