Still taking this one in… 📺🎹

Had the opportunity to hit The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and this one was special for me.

I’ve done a lot of TV over the years as a musician or a producer but this was my first TV music spot as a Music Director. Definitely one of those moments where you stop and appreciate the journey and everything that led to it.

And getting to see The Roots in action was dope. I’ve been watching and studying them for years, so being in that room and seeing how they do what they do up close was a whole experience in itself.

Great music. Great people. Great energy.

Grateful for another first and another milestone. We’re just getting started. 🙏🏾

This weekend was a MOVIE 🎬🔥

Friday, we kicked things off at Disney Animation Studios for an event with content creators, rocking with Magnus. Then Saturday, we hopped on a flight to Dallas for Dirk Nowitzki’s celebrity charity event, and what an experience.

Not only was it for an amazing cause, but we got to play for Dirk and his special guests, then enjoy the night right alongside everybody. It was dope partying with Steve Nash and Mark Cuban alongside Dirk, while Rev Run absolutely TURNED IT OUT on the turntables! 🔥

The food was banging, the energy was crazy, and they really pulled out all the stops. You could customize your own hat from scratch, hit the candy station, check out the cigar station, or jump into the casino, with the proceeds going to charity.

One of those weekends where you look around and really take it all in.

I’m grateful that music continues to put me in rooms, places, and experiences I never could’ve imagined. 🙏🏾

Here’s to many more. We up!!! 🚀🎹

Still on a high from finishing an incredible Blue Note LA residency as Music Director for @magnus_ferrell! 🎹🔥

We closed it out in a BIG way getting to play “End of the Road” with the legendary Shawn Stockman @shawnstockmanofficial of Boyz II Men was definitely one of those unforgettable moments. 🙌🏾

Also got to connect and make music with some more amazing guests throughout the residency, including the prodigy @official_justinleeschultz . So much talent, so many great moments, and I’m grateful to be a part of it all.

And we’re just getting started… the rest of this month is about to be INSANE. So many incredible opportunities and moments coming with Magnus.

Stay tuned for the journey.

WE UP!!! 🚀🔥

I celebrated my birthday surrounded by the people I love, tucked away in Joshua Tree, reflecting on how far God has brought me.

When I look back, I’m grateful for it all the stages I’ve played, the countries music has taken me to, the dreams I’ve watched become reality, the family we’ve built, and even the seasons that stretched me into the man I am today.

I’ve been blessed to experience and accomplish so much, but I genuinely feel like I’m just getting started.

This next decade is about output. It’s about creating, building, teaching, leading, and putting more into the world—not for the sake of being seen, but because I don’t want to leave anything God placed inside of me unused.

I’m walking into this next chapter with gratitude, purpose, and expectation.

Forty years of becoming.

Today, I’m 40. 🖤

Happy Anniversary @nicolasa77

Last night was one of those nights where everything collided in the best possible way.

I got to MD an incredible night at the Blue Note with Magnus Ferrell… on our anniversary. ❤️ Having my wife and baby girl there turned an already special night into something I’ll never forget.

We also got to spend some real time with Will Ferrell, talking, laughing, and seeing firsthand what a genuinely good human being he is. You meet the father and understand why the son is who he is. @magnus_ferrell is an incredible artist and an even better person.

Add in Magnus being nominated for a VMA for Best New Artist, and the whole night felt like one big celebration.

Music. Family. Love. Legacy.

Happy Anniversary to my love. ❤️
What a night.

Got The Call While I Was In China … MD And Live Arrangements For Magnus Ferrell’s Next Show.

Landed In The States, Went Straight Into Rehearsals With Magnus And The Band, Then Flew To San Francisco For Outside Lands.

And Yes, @magnus_ferrell, That’s Will Ferrell’s Son. In His Own Words, He’s “Beating The Nepo Allegations One Groovy Song At A Time.” 😂 Dude Is Carving His Own Lane And The Music Speaks For Itself.

Shout Out To @gabe_yaron For Producing All Of These Fire Records. You Are Different, Bro!

And Shout Out To This Incredible Band And Team. It’s An Honor To Work With You All.

If You’re In LA, Pull Up To The Blue Note Aug 17th & 18th. We’re Running It Back For Two Nights! 🔥

We Up Next!!
