The class meets Thursdays from 7 to 8:30pm at Studio 206, 265 W 37th Street, a regular spot for his sessions.

Dabke is a Levantine line dance rooted in Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Iraq and Jordan, often performed in unison with rhythmic footwork and clapping as a celebration of community and heritage. SWANA refers to Southwest Asia and North Africa, so the class covers a broader range of Arab folk styles beyond just Dabke.
