Some horses test you.
Some horses teach you.
But the good ones....
They change you.

Some of my greatest and most humbling lessons in this life have come from a four legged animal who never spoke a word. And never needed to.

A little reminder to slow down, take the backroads, watch the sunset, and enjoy the life you’re working so hard to build.

Because at the end of the day, it’s the moments, the memories, and the people we share them with that matter most.

Here’s to making a living, but never forgetting to make a life.

For those of you who are new around here, we figured it was time to introduce the woman behind the madness.

Meet Jesse.

Business owner, horse girl, mom, wife, professional multitasker, and quite possibly the reason there aren’t enough hours in a day.

She’s got a million things on the go, a whole lot of determination, and a pretty serious love for the western way of life.

Somewhere between the horses, kids, rodeos, and everyday chaos, she’s managed to build Ranch Hand Store into something pretty special.

She works hard, laughs harder, and probably has about 47 things on her to-do list right now.

She’s the heart behind Ranch Hand, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

If you know Jesse, drop a comment. We’d love to hear how you know her!

Second Canadian finals in the books and it was a blast. @brett.buss.roping .roping and I battled it out for five rounds with the best ropers in Canada . We wound up winning second in the average placing in 4 out 5 rounds .Big congrats to @kavisdrake and @denim_ross for winning the average and a Canadian title they roped outstanding not just at the finals but all year long. Another big congratulations to my main man Haze. He won him second in the dummy roping. Was fun and an honor to see the future of team roping in Canada go at em . Can’t wait to go to the maple leaf circuit finals and can’t wait for the 2027 season to start . Can’t thank my sponsors family and friends enough for all the support @ranch_hand_store @_classicrope @cinchjeans @besteverpads by @ranch_hand_store

THAT’S A WRAP ON CFR 2026!

And holy hell, did our Ranch Hand crew give us something to cheer about!

Big runs, big moves on the leaderboard, and no shortage of shenanigans along the way!

These boys showed up, threw down, and made us proud every step of the way!

What a week. What a crew. WHAT A SHOW!

PART TWO — just in time before the rodeo kicks off.

Brett Buss + Joey Romo are back talking Ponoka, muddy days, favourite runs, and a few stories from the road.

If you missed Part One, go catch that first — then finish off the interview before the boys get to work at CFR.

Now it’s go time. Let’s get after it, boys.

Brett + Joey — Part 1.

First things first: the horses.

Joey’s good horse has apparently been stolen by his daughter, Brett gives us the scoop on Rango, and the boys talk about the horses behind the runs.

Good horses. Good stories. A little sh**talking.

The CFR kicks off tonight — and we’re damn proud to have these two riding for Ranch Hand.

Part 2 coming up next.
