Today's The Saga Vault showcase: GUS' HOLY GRAILBefore Gus Lopez even finished revealing his artifact, the panel knew they were looking at something extraordinary. "Oh, come on. That's not even fair."Gus brought a production-made Luke Skywalker lightsaber from the original 1977 Star Wars. Built from a vintage Graflex camera flash and modified for production, it represents the kind of artifact collectors dream about finding. While its exact screen use remains unconfirmed, its provenance traces back to Elstree Studios, where the original film was made.Gus spent years pursuing an original trilogy lightsaber, calling it an "almost impossible goal." The Saga Vault showcase of the day: RED'S HOLY GRAILRed Dodge’s Holy Grail is a copy of The Making of The Empire Strikes Back from Carrie Fisher’s personal collection, given to Red by Carrie herself.A mutual artist friend told Carrie about Red, her love of Star Wars, and how her outspoken activism reminded him of Princess Leia.
