Remembering Mike Clark who passed away this day in 1999!
Mike is the father of Jay, Justin and Waylon Clark who will all be at Justin Jam this year.

Mike was a talented banjoist who loved J.D. Crowe, Earl Scruggs, Alan Shelton, Kenny Ingram and other banjo greats.
His band Uptown Bluegrass recorded 3 albums. He was a charter member of the Oklahoma Bluegrass Club and the Greater Oklahoma Bluegrass Music Society.
Mike grew up going to Bluegrass Festivals and attended the First Bean Blossom Festival. Mike also helped form the Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival in Guthrie, OK with Byron Berline and other members of the local community.

If you have a Mike Clark Memory, please post it!
