PLEASE NOTE:

I do NOT approach authors and this is not my email address. Please beware

Hello, Anne.

My name is XXXXX. I'm an author of a four-volume set of novels titled as a set, XXXXX.

I've been in cordial correspondence with "Anne Cater" over the past month or so, and we are planning blog tours for the first volume, Steel Dog, and for the omnibus, Jack Comes Back.

The email address I've been corresponding with is randomthingsletterbox@gmail.com

If this is reaching you (my Anne Cater), then I ask your forbearance; I was merely spooked by the different email address you have attached to your website. Please respond, as briefly as you'd like, to this message from this email address so I can rest easy. And thanks in advance.

If, however, you've never heard of me, then I must likewise apologize for importuning. I'm sure you'll want to know that someone is scamming people using your good name (and they are very professional!).
If you would be so kind as to give me a short reply from this address, it would be most appreciated.

Best,
XXXXXX

Ben Redfield built a life he refuses to lose—his business, his marriage, his name.
So when a rival begins quietly dismantling everything he’s built, Ben doesn’t call the police.
He doesn’t call a lawyer.
He calls his estranged brother—with one instruction: make the problem go away. Clean. Quiet. Untraceable.

Instead, the wrong people start dying.

Now Ben is exposed. The police are closing in. And someone is always watching.

He wanted one man gone. Now he’s the one being hunted.
Because once you step into a world built on silence, you don’t get to choose who pays the price.

The Snake: I serve London

What kind of person knows they may kill before the day is out?

Kate Arden must soon find out.

It's London, 1999. A family tragedy breaks her heart and forces her into a new job with an elite police unit called SO19.

SO19 is all speed, power and adrenaline. There are fast cars, serious weaponry, unpredictable threats. It's disciplined, aggressive, and highly addictive, a very long way from regular policing.

Kate is one of a tight team of firearms specialists. Their job is to protect the people from those who would steal, kill and destroy.

Including one ex-marine sniper with a grudge ...

Fast-paced, gritty, and very human, The Snake looks at both sides of the ancient question - what is evil?

They all wanted their bully dead. Now someone's granted the wish…

In a dingy pub, a high school reunion after-party brings five old friends back together. As they catch up after twenty years, painful memories surface, all centred around the disastrous prom night that broke them all apart. King of the class turned handsome sport superstar, Eric Stewart has led a charmed life since but his old friends know his cruel streak. The more they drink, the more a morbid plan takes shape, with everyone tossing in ideas for how they could get the ultimate revenge.

The next morning, they discover Eric has been found dead, exactly the way they drunkenly planned it.

When a cryptic, anonymous message containing a recording of their conversation from the night before starts to circulate, the group knows they need to act, and fast – before they're framed…or worse. Who was listening to them? Who arranged the reunion? And, most importantly, who carried out their murderous plans to the letter?

From the author of Seven Reasons to Kill Your Dinner Guests comes a twisty thriller with a dark puzzle at its heart.

It's always fun to work with Kate Cunningham

The #virtualbooktour for Wolves of Londinium by Kate & Sam Cunningham begins 05 Oct

#wolvesoflondinium
@reading_riddle

This is an adventure where you, the reader, get to choose which timeline you want to follow. Will you succeed in finding the emeralds or will you end up locked up or eaten by a tiger?

As you race to find the jewels you are given choices and these decisions will determine the outcome of the story. Along the way you may visit the harbour, forum, temples and baths. Be careful what you eat and consider how to appease the gods.

It is the year 122 AD

The Emporer Hadrian is visiting Britannia and your mother the aurifix, an expert goldsmith, has been commissioned to make a gold statue of a wolf to present to him.

In these adventures children get the opportunity to immerse themselves in an adventure and learn about a particular moment in history.

Along with Sam's ink drawings of the places and people of Roman London, this book will give children an insight into life 1,900 years ago.

Reading Riddle books help children learn while enjoying a story, and in our CAT (Choose A Timeline) books they have the power to choose which storyline to follow

✨📖 BOOK REVIEW 📖✨

Today is my day on the book tour for The Hollow Garden by @nataliegracelewiscreative with @randomthingstours and I am so excited to share my review.

I absolutely loved this book. It was brilliant! It was so creative and atmospheric and I was completely drawn into the story.

I really loved Kyra as a character, and her connection to Aunt Magda was one of my favourite parts. Although they never meet in the story, as Kyra inherits the manor after her aunt has passed away, you get such a clear sense of the understanding between them through the things Aunt Magda left behind and I loved discovering more about aunt Magda through their relationship.

I also really liked the chemistry between Kyra and Priory, it was palpable from the moment they met, and I loved watching them find their way back to each other through the story and their shared history.

Celine was such an intriguing character too, especially with her ability to sense things that others couldn’t. There are so many secrets and unanswered questions surrounding her, and I really enjoyed watching those slowly unravel as the story went on.

I also really liked the setting. The manor, the graveyard and the way the story honours the dead all gave it such a beautiful but haunting backdrop, which I thought worked so well.

There are so many secrets and connections woven through this story and I really enjoyed seeing how they all came together or fall apart. My only complaint is that I wanted more…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly recommend this book, my book 33 of 2026 and one of my favourites of this year so far.

BOOK - Falling For You by @heidi_swain
GENRE - Contemporary/Romance fiction
PUBLICATION DATE - 24 September 2026 by @simonschusteruk
See above for SYNOPSIS ✍️

MY THOUGHTS ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5
When Skylar moves to Norwich, she's hoping for a fresh start and to spend time with the dad she's never known. What she isn't expecting is to find connection with her neighbour, Erik, who has his own demons he's working through. Although she's initially quite an insular character, as Skylar settles into her new home, we see her grow as she develops connections and friendships. Set in a wonderful community with so many delightful characters, this book is one that will leave you smiling and feeling content. It's hard not to fall in love with Heidi's characters, and I was (not so) secretly cheering them on their personal journeys, wanting them to find happiness.

There's a lot to this about this lovely story - a gentle friends-to- lovers romance set during autumn, one of my favourite seasons, it has a beautiful seasonal feel to it, the perfect book to lose yourself in while snuggled under a cosy blanket with a warm drink.

This was my first book by this author and I absolutely loved it 🧡. I will definitely be returning to Norwich again.

Thank you @randomthingstours for the opportunity to read and review this delightful story.

What's your favourite romance setting?

Guzzle is a comedy novel by Indie author Angie Annetts. It is hilariously funny from start to finish and I couldn't get enough of it.
The story follows Jo Carter, if you say it fast it sounds like a Japanese motorcyle,,, JoCarter😂.  She begins her story as a married 28 year old working at the local newspaper. She eventually agrees to help her husband, Simon, formerly a plasterer to follow his dream of becoming a pub landlord. During their 6weeks training period shadowing and learning the ropes from Pammie and Brian. During this period they are left in charge and Jo takes to it like a duck to water. However, Jo discovering her husband isn't quite as committed to their new lifestyle when she find him bent over the captain of the ladies darts team after hours.
Jo leaves him and decides she cant go back to the newspaper job and follows her new calling to become landlord of her own pub. What follows is a fast tracked year of learning absolutely everything and being handed the keys to her own pub, part of the ficticious chain of Guzzle pubs in heart of London. With her trusty team (the troops) by her side and a whole lot of temporary staff, she muddles through the shenanigans with much silliness, hilarity and a gay pterodactyl as her trusty guardian angel.

This is definitely the funniest book I've ever read. I flew through this masterpiece. It reads like I was sitting catching up with my dear friend having a drunken rant about all thats happened in her life over the last year and I loved it. JoCarter is such a loveable character who seems to be suffering from some childhood issues between her and her mother as there are several mentions giving hints each time as to how she treated her growing up. Some notable mentions to,,, the teeth and their many glowing and hypnotic appearances, solving many issues. Ptery the gay pterodactyl who helps keeps Jo on the right path, doing occassional household chores and supplier of tea and hobnobs at times of crisis. Its rude, its crude and Simi-laaaaah and if your looking for something new, lighthearted, fun and hilarious this is a must read.

Many thanks to @highpriestessofdispensing and @Randomthingstours for including me. by @randomthingstours
