Stan “The Lariat” Hansen is one of wrestling’s most feared and celebrated gaijin brawlers, a Texas cowboy who broke out in the 1970s feuding with Bruno Sammartino in the WWWF and built a global reputation for his brutal, neck‑snapping lariat. After working NWA territories and short runs in AWA and WCW—where he held the AWA World Heavyweight Title and the NWA/WCW United States Championship—his true legacy was cemented in All Japan Pro Wrestling, becoming Giant Baba’s top foreign star, a four‑time Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, multi‑time World Tag Team Champion, and a perennial threat in the Champion Carnival and World’s Strongest Tag League. His wild entrances, chewing tobacco, and stiff, chaotic style produced classic wars with Jumbo Tsuruta, Genichiro Tenryu, Mitsuharu Misawa, Toshiaki Kawada, Vader, and more, and after nearly three decades in the ring he retired around 2000, later serving as PWF commissioner and entering the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016.

Jerry Jarrett was an American professional wrestler, promoter, and booker whose greatest legacy was helping turn Memphis wrestling into one of the sport’s most influential territories. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 4, 1942, he began selling wrestling programs at age seven and was helping promote local events by his teenage years. After working as a referee, he trained under Tojo Yamamoto and Sailor Moran and made his wrestling debut in 1965. Jarrett became a successful tag-team competitor in NWA Mid-America, winning numerous regional championships with partners including Yamamoto. His most significant contributions came behind the scenes, where he developed a reputation for creative matchmaking and compelling storylines. In 1977, he broke away from promoter Nick Gulas and founded the Continental Wrestling Association, establishing the foundation of his Memphis-based promotion. Working closely with Jerry Lawler, Jarrett built a thriving wrestling territory around Saturday-morning television broadcasts and regular Monday-night events at the Mid-South Coliseum. His booking combined colorful personalities, emotional rivalries, surprising twists, and intense brawling, making weekly television an attraction in its own right. Jarrett helped advance the early careers of performers such as Hulk Hogan, Sting, and the Ultimate Warrior, while also creating the Fabulous Ones and helping popularize the Rock ’n’ Roll Express through music videos. In 1989, he merged the CWA with the Dallas-based World Class Championship Wrestling operation to form the United States Wrestling Association. His promotional experience also led to consulting work with both the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling. In 2002, he and his son Jeff Jarrett co-founded NWA: Total Nonstop Action, giving him another major role in establishing a wrestling company before he departed its management in 2005. Jarrett was inducted into the NWA Hall of Fame in 2009 and died on February 14, 2023, at age 80, leaving a lasting influence on wrestling promotion, talent development, and television storytelling. by @randomwrestlecontent

Billy Two Rivers was a Mohawk professional wrestler from Kahnawà:ke, Quebec, who built an international career spanning more than two decades. He trained under fellow Kahnawà:ke wrestler Don Eagle, who became his mentor and prepared him for the professional ring. After two years of training, Two Rivers made his debut in Detroit in February 1953 as a junior heavyweight. He gained experience throughout the American wrestling territories and formed a tag team with Don Eagle during the 1950s. On April 6, 1959, he and George Becker captured the Mid-Atlantic version of the NWA Southern Tag Team Championship by defeating Alberto and Enrique Torres. Later that year, he arrived in Britain and quickly attracted attention, defeating Gwyn Davies at London’s Royal Albert Hall and making television appearances soon afterward. His distinctive Mohawk hairstyle and feathered headdress helped make him one of the most recognizable personalities on the British wrestling scene. He spent six years based in England, while his wider travels took him to wrestling audiences across Europe and North Africa. In 1966, he also wrestled in Japan, further extending a career that had already carried him across Canada and the United States. During the final years of his in-ring career, he returned home to Kahnawà:ke and worked primarily for Montreal’s Grand Prix Wrestling promotion before retiring in the mid-1970s. He then entered public service, winning election to the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke in 1978 and serving for 20 years, including an influential leadership role during the 1990 Oka Crisis. Beyond wrestling and politics, Two Rivers appeared in films and television and advocated for the preservation of the Mohawk language, leaving a legacy that extended well beyond the ring when he died on February 12, 2023, at age 87. by @randomwrestlecontent

His career also included appearances in the revived World of Sport Wrestling and two tours with Dragon Gate in Japan. Carmelo Hayes, born Christian Brigham, began his professional wrestling career in 2014 under the name Christian Casanova. He established himself on the New England independent circuit, competing for promotions such as Chaotic Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling, and Limitless Wrestling before signing with WWE in February 2021. Hayes made his televised NXT debut that June by challenging Kushida for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship, then won the NXT Breakout Tournament later that summer. Alongside Trick Williams, he developed a confident persona built around the catchphrase “Melo Don’t Miss” and became one of NXT’s leading stars. Later that month, he joined SmackDown as the third overall selection in the WWE Draft, becoming the first NXT wrestler chosen in the draft’s first round. Jim Powers, born James Manley, began his professional wrestling career in 1984 after Big John Studd helped train him and brought him into the World Wrestling Federation. He initially worked as an undercard wrestler, gaining experience against established WWF stars before spending time in Texas All-Star Wrestling and World Class Championship Wrestling in 1985. His biggest breakthrough came in 1987 when he teamed with Paul Roma to form the Young Stallions, an energetic babyface duo. The team gained attention through matches against the Hart Foundation, including an upset disqualification victory over the reigning WWF Tag Team Champions. At the inaugural Survivor Series in November 1987, the Young Stallions joined the Killer Bees as the surviving teams in the event’s tag-team elimination match. Despite that promising exposure, Powers and Roma never captured the WWF Tag Team Championship, and their partnership ended in 1989. Powers then returned primarily to singles competition, facing stars such as Mr. Perfect, Ted DiBiase, and The Undertaker while also picking up occasional victories against other undercard wrestlers. After leaving the WWF in 1994, he competed in the American Wrestling Federation and unsuccessfully challenged Shane Douglas for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. He also achieved championship success outside the major promotions, defeating Jeff Jarrett for Pennsylvania Championship Wrestling’s Americas Championship in July 1995. Powers joined World Championship Wrestling in 1996, where Teddy Long managed him for part of his run and he occasionally teamed with Bobby Walker. A neck injury brought his WCW career to an end in 1998 and kept him away from active competition for several years. He returned to the independent circuit in 2007, later won the NWA New Jersey Tag Team Championship with Danny Inferno, and retired in 2010, concluding a career best remembered for his Young Stallions partnership and lengthy presence on WWF and WCW programming. by @randomwrestlecontent

Jessie McKay, best known to WWE fans as Billie Kay, is an Australian professional wrestler whose career has taken her from the independent circuit to championship success on the international stage. Trained by Madison Eagles, she made her in-ring debut for Pro Wrestling Alliance in Australia on June 23, 2007, her eighteenth birthday. She established herself in her home country by becoming a two-time Pro Wrestling Women’s Alliance Champion. Beginning in 2008, she expanded her career internationally through SHIMMER Women Athletes, initially teaming with Eagles as the Pink Ladies before competing against prominent opponents such as Sara Del Rey, Nicole Matthews, and Cheerleader Melissa. McKay signed with WWE in 2015, joined its NXT developmental brand, and adopted the ring name Billie Kay. The pair debuted together on SmackDown in April 2018 as The IIconics, attacking Charlotte Flair and bringing their outspoken personalities to WWE’s main roster. Their biggest WWE achievement came at WrestleMania 35 in April 2019, when Kay pinned Bayley in a four-team match to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Royce. After their championship reign ended and WWE split the team in 2020, Kay developed a comedic solo character who offered her résumé to other wrestlers while searching for a new partnership. Following their WWE releases in April 2021, McKay and Lee reunited in Impact Wrestling as The IInspiration and won the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship from Decay at Bound for Glory that October. The partners stepped away from wrestling in April 2022, and McKay pursued acting opportunities, including a role in the film The Charisma Killers. They returned to TNA in June 2025 and subsequently captured the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship for a second time. In 2026, The IInspiration joined All Elite Wrestling and also won Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling’s Princess Tag Team Championship, extending McKay’s record of tag-team success across multiple promotions. by @randomwrestlecontent
