Rest in peace, Hiro. ❤️

We lost him this morning after his pneumonia worsened and he went into cardiac arrest at the Vet ER.

We saw him last night. We held him, and we told him we loved him. We left thinking we'd be bringing him home Sunday.

We did bring him home. Just in a box.

I'll miss his wagging tail every morning, his lap time, his little growls when someone tried to steal my attention, and coming home to him waiting with a toy in his mouth.

I'll miss the routine. I'll miss the little things. I'll miss him.

Rest easy, buddy. You were loved.

A fun night out in Seattle, from dinner at La Fontana Siciliana to Young Miko’s Late Check Out Tour at Climate Pledge Arena. Checked into the Sound Hotel and got to enjoy the concert with a little mystery since we didn’t know our seats until picking up our physical tickets at will call. We’ve been to plenty of shows here, but this made the night feel a little different. Good food, good music, and a memorable experience. Thanks, @thesoundhotel

Friday Night Lights at Husky Stadium from Club Husky. At least the roof kept me dry because that game was painful to watch. The offense looked completely different once Elijah got his shot. Make him the starter for the rest of the season. The defense wasn't doing us any favors either. Credit to the Iowa fans, though. They showed up.

@danielcorbera and @armedwithstyle recent visit to this spot had me wanting to check it out. Then I watched some old @josiahblee edits before heading out and figured I should be able to get a soul grind. Yeah… about that. 😂

Failed on the soul, so I’ll have to run it back. Anthony killed it as usual though.

Lazy Sunday. Stopped by Mixed Pantry for Pour Over Sunday to try the Salamat blend from Teofilo Coffee Company. I was intrigued by it since the beans were from the Philippines and the blend used a variety of beans. It was a decent cup, but not something I’d add to my regular rotation.

Afterwards, Machi got his walk in and I got to skate. Pretty solid way to spend a Sunday.

Finished work early today, so I got in a light session at Jefferson. Had to cut it shorter than I wanted because I was feeling all of 40 today. 😅

Tried a few 270 alley-oop soul grinds and all that spinning and turning decided to twist up my back. 😂

Still got some rolling in, so I’ll take it.

A handful of photos from the @kehlani show last night.

Won the tickets through a raffle and, of course, brought the camera along. Enjoyed the show and grabbed a few shots while I was there.

Thanks to @silverplattersrecords and @livenationpnw for the tickets and the great seats.

Made it out to the Puyallup Fair and caught Ice Cube and WC live. They ran through all the classics and put on a really enjoyable show.

Then yesterday we got to check out an advance screening of @forgottenislandmovie No spoilers from me, but I enjoyed it. Check it out when it releases Friday and support the film.

Hiro has a way of making Shullina cry. 💔

I took him to the vet Thursday for follow-up labs after his appointment Tuesday. When we got home, he seemed really out of it, so I figured it was the trazodone. But Shullina noticed he had a fever and wasn't eating. Later that night, he started throwing up.

He ended up being admitted to the ER yesterday and has to stay another night for treatment because of his pneumonia symptoms. We visited him this morning, and it’s heartbreaking seeing him like this.
