Beyond grateful to be back sharing the stage with my friends. Our season ended in May. I spent most of June in a hospital bed trying to figure out what was wrong. All of July in bed recovering from brain surgery. All of August doing outpatient therapy for my neck mobility, full body physical therapy/condition at the ballet, and only taking class in the morning while assisting rehearsal directing for our first program. Then mid-September I began full rehearsal days. 5 WEEKS LATER, I’m back on stage doing what I love in full force. Being back is so emotional to me because at my lowest point when I couldn’t even shower myself, all I wanted and could think about was coming back to dance. Pardon my language but, I WORKED MY ASS OFF to be here, and I did it quickly and safely. With my experience, I walk into everyday with so much gratitude and purpose. This life is not to be taken for granted. Thank you to all of my friends, family, and supporters for your messages, donations, and patience. You all fuel me everyday to be intentional about the direction I steer my ship and who I allow to come on the journey with me. Thank you to everyone who made this first show back so special. Last summer, @okcballet soloist @randyfernandy underwent emergency surgery to remove a noncancerous brain tumor. He was bedridden for weeks and, over the past months, has slowly built back to dancing. “Doing the same thing every day can make you forget how special it is, but now I don’t take any day for granted,” says Fernandez.

Read his story at the link in our bio. 💕

So grateful to have taken flight as Peter Pan! It’s been an unforgettable adventure, and I couldn’t have asked for a better cast to share the journey with. Thank you to everyone who made this experience so special! 🧚‍♀️💫 #PeterPan #ontothenextadventure choreography by: Jorden Morris photos by: @janacarson by @randyfernandy

This year has been really tough for me. I lost my grandpa, suffered from an injury, got my bike stolen, and one of my closest friends is moving away. Despite all of that, I want to thank everyone who has made this year great. I performed so many beautiful ballets, I’ve spent more time with my family, I’ve traveled, and I’ve surrounded myself with people who support and love me. Check on your friends, check on your family, and tell people you love them. These are just photos from 2024 of different moments that made me smile. by @randyfernandy

Went ham last night in my debut of Laertes. So grateful for the opportunity to dance alongside my close friends @alejandrogonlez & @kara_t to give the audience we’ve been building together over the last 7 years in Oklahoma, the best show ever. Everyone on stage was awesome last night! Thank you to all of the people who changed their plans and were able to watch our one night only cast. We left everything on stage for you and appreciate all of your support. This production was truly special to me and allowed me to grow more as an artist instead of thinking so much about the technicality of the steps.
