Kylo Velasquez Panado. God is so good. I’m filled with gratitude for The Best Surprise I could ever ask for. We are officially a party of 5. My sweet little bubba, Thank you for making me a boy mom. Our family is complete with your arrival. A big thank you to our tribe who helped us get him here in their own special unique way. It took a village to get you here on earth and for this I am forever grateful. by @randypanado

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted non story content on my account. Excited to get back into posting content ⚡️

Stoked to share a piece of kit I asked Prograde for several years ago to develop and it’s finally here!

Prograde was kind enough to send over this kit without cost to myself as we have a history of collaborations.

Disclaimer: Not quite an #ad as I’ll be sharing things from my point of view as prograde gave me free reign to speak freely, tho I was sent this product at no cost 🙏🏽

Their new offerings I’m taking for a spin are:

1) SSD 4TB drive

2) Thunderbolt 4 hub

3) and a hard shell case and a soft case, to hold it all.

They dropped an SSD inside of the same form factor as their memory card readers and first impressions are awesome.

I filmed a quick unboxing video and will be putting this stuff through my paces.

I’ll share the pics (and maybe the video) when I get them edited. I have a couple other things in the box they sent tho I’ll make another post highlighting them.

In the past, I was able to share a discount code that gave you an additional 15% off your order with them tho need to see if I can post that publicly.

Quite the kit bash going on here, check the tags for the details. ;)

Got my Siqfuti Yellow @redigitalcinema KOMODO paired up with the new @tokinacinemausa 25-75 cinema zoom!

Lit with the @prolycht Orion 300 FS as a key and the @digitalsputnik DS1 for the background.

Love this camera and the community that is built around it 💪🏽. Thank you @instajarred and team for building such an awesome camera.

While everyone drools over the Ronin S2, I’m here rigging up the original Ronin S 😉.

(Ok...I admit it. I’m drooling too. Hah)

I’ve seen the KOMODO rigged up a couple times on a Ronin S and figured I’d give it a shot.

This rig is made possible with a few things:

1) Core SWX dtap cable for Komodo - I believe I went with 24” length

2) Core SWX Powerbase Edge

3) Stripped down KOMODO

Few interesting notes:

- Be very careful if you’re planning on doing this. The powerbase edge’s plate is plastic. It’ll crack if you’re not mindful of how you’re setting the rig down.

- Very little clearance in the back when holding the gimbal straight up and down. When you tilt back, opens up more range. (See photos)

- With a lighter lens, you’ll get more clearance in the back. However, the Tokina 11-20 just looks so good paired with the KOMODO.

- The Powerbase edge reports a little over 2 hours of power to the KOMODO. You have to check power on the battery as the KOMODO just thinks you’re plugged into the wall.

Hope this helps. I’m picking up the S2 Pro but there’s still plenty of life with the Ronin S if you’re not looking to upgrade 😉.

Thanks to CoreSWX, Tokina, and DJI for making awesome products.

@8sinn cage solution for the @reddigitalcinema KOMODO 6k S35 cinema camera

It may add some additional weight, though KOMODO is protected on 3 sides pretty well.

Think of it as beefed up @globaldynamicsunited Timmy Ribs ;)

🐲⚡️🔥

I am beyond thrilled to be back in the RED family.

It's been a few years away, shooting on Canon Cinema EOS C200 and Panasonic S1H and GH5/S.

What ultimately led me back was the small form factor coupled with the baby dragon sensor + global shutter.

I've always loved images that came out of the dragon sensors so jumped at the chance to own one. I was holding out for the black production Komodo to use my hydrogen discount...but was presented with an awesome opportunity.

Very grateful to @instajarred as he was kind enough to offer me one of his personal cameras to purchase since the custom colors are no longer available. Much, much appreciated Jarred! 🙏🏽

(Also, sorry, no more custom colors left)

Also, thanks to @timdaust and @scottbalkum for putting the gears in motion! This wouldn't have happened without both of your support. Skittles crew 😂

Let's see what this baby (dragon) can do! ⚡️
