POSTS STORIES REELS

This sizzle reel represents a dream decades in the making and the work I’m grateful to bring Nebraska sports fans every day—whether I’m in front of the camera or behind it.

Four years ago, I walked away from a career in tech sales to chase a dream in sports media. It was a major leap with plenty of sacrifice, but I knew I wanted to tell stories that mattered to people.

Now, I get to do that at NTV Sports. In a little more than a year, the coverage I have provided has generated more than 90 million views, 4 million likes and 45,000-plus comments across social platforms. Those numbers are humbling—but hearing someone say in person that they follow and enjoy the coverage will always mean the most.

This reel represents more than being on camera. It’s finding stories, building relationships, asking the right questions, shooting, writing, editing and creating digital content that meets fans wherever they are.

From TV newscasts and live reports to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X and beyond, the goal stays the same: bring Husker and local Nebraska sports fans closer to the teams, athletes and moments they care about.

Thank you for watching, sharing, commenting and trusting me to help tell these stories. We’re just getting started. 🫡

A year ago, Kobe had just days to live. Today, he turns 2 on Aug 5th, 2026 🎂 When I adopted him, he was 1 year and 1 month old, so we never got to celebrate his first birthday. Before that, he had been tied to a tree and left outside a shelter with no info. He only had a couple of days left before he was scheduled to be euthanized.

Around that same time, I had just moved to Nebraska. It was a new job, a new industry, a new state, and a completely new chapter of life. I was feeling lonely, and I knew I needed a companion.

Fast forward to today, and he’s become my best friend.

We run together, hang out, cuddle, explore, and he’s always by my side. Coming home to his excitement and seeing that smile every day is one of the best parts of my life. His love is completely unconditional, and watching him become part of mine (now with @kayleegrieser26, her family, and his best doggy friend Ruger) has been incredible.

I’ve wanted a dog for as long as I can remember, and Kobe has been even more amazing than I ever imagined. Rescuing him ended up changing my life just as much as it changed his.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Kobe. I love you more than you’ll ever know. ❤️🐾 by @randysilvertv

Nebraska leads 7-3 vs. Washington at half. For the 3rd Big Ten game in a row, they hold their opponent to 3 points or fewer in the first half. Nebraska opened the scoring with a 10-play, 95-yard scoring drive in the first quarter. The 95-yard drive was Nebraska’s longest of the season, bettering a 92-yard drive against Ohio.

Tight end Carter Nelson caught a 24-yard TD pass in the first quarter, marking his first TD of the season and the second of his career (2024 vs. Northern Iowa).

For Harper Murray and Gabby DiVita, Nebraska’s trip to Michigan is a homecoming.

Both Huskers played for Legacy Volleyball Club, along with teammate Campbell Flynn. Murray grew up in Ann Arbor, while DiVita is from Grosse Pointe Farms. The club helped shape their volleyball journeys—and now they’re returning to the community as Nebraska players.

Murray has also gone back to Legacy to give back, hosting a volleyball camp for girls with different levels of experience. She says the club’s environment helped make her the player she is today.

DiVita hopes seeing former Legacy players compete for the No. 1 Huskers inspires the next generation to keep dreaming big. Coach Dani Busboom Kelly said about 1,000 people connected to Legacy are expected at Friday’s match.

Nebraska faces Michigan on Friday, Oct. 30, then travels to East Lansing to play Michigan State on Saturday.
