POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Up next for North Live sessions - @randyymusic brings a sound rooted in UKG, modern and 00s tech house, garage house and breakbeat, with touches of minimal, electro and speed garage.

His biggest inspirations include Sidney Charles, Tristan da Cunha, Locklead, Dr Banana, Oldboy, Captain Wallop, DNXBY, Boss Priester, Garret David and Sairose - artists whose grooves and energy have helped shape a style focused on character and deep-cut selections.

One track he can’t stop playing right now is “Nite Life (M-HIGH Remix)” by Kim English - a record they described as “literally perfect.”it’s easy to see why it’s become such a staple in the bag.

When we asked what hey enjoys most about DJing, the answer was simple, giving great records the attention they deserve. That passion has only grown stronger through learning to mix vinyl, something Will describes as both one of the biggest challenges and the most rewarding parts of the journey.

Alongside DJing, Will is currently working through a huge back catalogue of unreleased productions while also diving deeper into hardware-based production setups; experimenting with new ways of making music and fully embracing the process.

His advice for anyone starting out? Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, trust YOU’RE own taste as this is what makes you unique. The most important thing is finding your own sound 🎙️ by @randyymusic
