Big ol’ slice of life lately

New starts always come on the heels of what has become all too familiar and comfortable. I’m finally ready to turn the page, it’s the precipice of fresh beginnings. This year’s been a good one for me. I feel less like a pretender and more like a contender. Big goals require a leap of faith and I’m all in. Having your chips on the table with nothing to lose is a beautiful thing. I wouldn’t call myself a gambling man, I’m just that sure of what lays ahead.

Don’t trip… don’t trip… don’t trip 🫨😅

Flashback to exploring the French Alps. Looking back, this stands out as one of the most unforgettable running experiences of my life. Endless gratitude for the places running continues to take me. Nature’s playground just hits different 🏔️ 🤙 taken in Les Coches, La Plagne by @raneriruns

(Semi) Pro Tip: Enjoy the little things. A quality rock sit can make all the difference post workout 😮‍💨 🪨

Learning to slow down and lean into life more lately. Embracing and appreciating.

Man, this is gonna be a fun season 🧱 🏔️

By the numbers in no particular order.

Traveled to three different countries and covered countless miles of walking, running, and biking around Paris. Climbed to the top of one glacier in the French Alps. Secured one coconut from Key Biscayne. Took one awkward coffee shop selfie, shout out to Steep for the good vibes. Made friends with a Shiba Inu (he tolerated me). Got guilt tripped by Nova. Thoroughly enjoyed one lemon spritzer at a local Parisian watering hole. Raced a muddy 68km in the foothills of Park City. Visited the world famous clown motel. Rang das bell at Broken Arrow and got worked.

Top tier year so far, let’s keep it rolling 🎲 🃏💯 by @raneriruns

This has been in the works for a while now. Both as a passion project and return to simplicity. Happy to put one on the board at the Twisted Fork 68km!

Bridging the gap seems more realistic everyday, so does making the jump into the deep end.

Thank you to all of the volunteers and big shout out to Jules and Finn @runsingletrack for organizing a top notch trail event. They absolutely crushed once again!
