Snuck out for a morning sesh to see if I could find me a birthday fish, and was blessed by this beautiful 45.5 greeny to break a skunk streak. After several hours of nothing but a couple lazy follows I grabbed the ol faithful @bullshad_swimbaits trick shad and within 20 minutes got this one to smoke it on the pause. First purebred of the season, super pumped for these fish to strap on the feed bag and start really filling out, bring on the cold! @leviathanrods muskie merc ftw 🐉

@scalz_broken A slower day doesn’t always equal less fish. Sometimes one just has to play the patience game. Eight total landed. Here’s a couple from yesterday’s trip.

Fishing in New York for stripers, in the bay, with a BASS BOAT. I mean COME ON.

How is this not on your bucket list!?

This trip had me take 2 1/2 weeks OFF the water because nothing could compare. I was in 'awe' and couldn't get enough.
After each fish caught I would be out of breath, my husband (then bf) would ask if I needed a break, and I'd look over at him while I bombed another cast. 'Nuff said.
Pretty much every fish was caught on a @megabass_inc megadog.. working it as erratic as I could.

@megabassamerica

I have a video up on YouTube on this day. Check it out if you want. Some of the most fun I have ever had.

@deniskreze has been killing it all year. If you follow his content you'll see how he is so conscious about a healthy release, doing his best so those fish continue to thrive. His net is one of the most important components.

Ranger Nets supports a healthy release, minimizing stress during the landings.
