Evening HUG for better sleep!
It's safe. There are no side effects. And it takes just a few minutes so be sure to try this out.
This has been the most popular part of the sleep section of the Stellar Door course, and I'm happy to share it today.
This is a good practice to do with a partner or with children as well!
H is for the humming breath. This prepares your nervous system for sleep. You can do this seated in bed. Inhale through your nose and your lift your chin up, and as you exhale, you want to hum and lower your chin to your chest.
U is for unwinding. This relaxes your body so you can sleep better. Do this in bed - a few gentle spinal twists or legs up the wall or happy baby pose.
G is for gratitude. This prepares your brain for optimal sleep. This one seems the least important, but it is essential because it helps you produce melatonin!!!
This simple practice will be beneficial for you even if you are taking sleep aids!
For more specific tips DM me for ways that we can work together.
Be sure to share with a friend if you found this useful!

I love experiences like this because they remind me that even the most ordinary things can become extraordinary when we approach them with curiosity... What you’re hearing isn’t the plant making music. 🌿 šŸŽ¶A PlantWave sensor detects tiny bioelectrical signals moving through the plant and translates those changing patterns into musical notes. The melody isn’t ā€œthe sound of the plantā€ā€”it’s a creative interpretation of its electrical activity

Whether you’re drawn to the science, the artistry, or simply the moment of stillness, I hope this encourages you to look a little closer at the living world around you.

Have you ever experienced a familiar part of nature in a completely new way?

Perimenopause as a recalibration!
It can feel disruptive, but it is also incredibly clarifying. Your body isn’t working against you. It is simply more honest about:
what drains you
what matters
what needs to change… so that we can experience menopause as what it really is - an upgrade!!! #midlifewellness #perimenopause #womenempowerment

Tiny seeds + Timeless maps of the body.
Ear seeds come from the practice of auricular therapy in Traditional Chinese Medicine, first documented in texts like the Huangdi Neijing (The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine), dating back over 2,000 years. The idea? Your ear is a microsystem of the entire body—every point corresponding to an organ, a pathway, a ā€œsymptomā€. And these little seeds (traditionally from the vaccaria or Chinese radish plant) were used to gently press those points and get the body back into healthy balance.

For women, this can have therapeutic benefits. Supporting things like stress, anxious loops, poor sleep, headaches, and those subtle (or not-so-subtle) hormonal shifts of perimenopause. Points like Shen Men—often called the ā€œSpirit Gateā€ā€”are known to calm the nervous system and soften that constant state of doing, holding, bracing. No pills or shots. Just gentle pressure on specific points that works in the background.

And maybe that’s the key.
Not everything has to be intense to be effective. Sometimes it’s a tiny, almost invisible ritual… that slowly teaches your body how to feel safe again. If this is the kind of gentle, ancient wisdom you want more of. save this for later and share it with someone who might need a softer way back to themselves. #atomichabits #perimenopause #menopause #earseeds #womensupportingwomen @nourishhealingcollective by @ranjana

If your skin is dry and oily…
your hair has a (dull) personality…
and your reflection feels slightly unfamiliar—

welcome to hormonal fluctuation.

Estrogen plays a role in all of this.
So when it shifts, things… improvise.

You’re not imagining it. And you’re definitely not alone. #hormones

There’s something ancient and comforting about candlelight.
But not all candles are created equal.

šŸ•Æ Why I love beeswax candles

• They burn clean and naturally, without synthetic chemicals
• Beeswax releases negative ions, which may help reduce indoor air pollutants
• They produce a warm, golden light that feels softer and more natural than paraffin
• Naturally subtle honey scent — no artificial fragrance required
• Long burn time and minimal soot when trimmed properly

Beeswax candles have been used for centuries in homes, temples, and quiet evening rituals for a reason.

āø»

āš ļø The problem with many scented candles

Many commercial candles are made with paraffin wax, a petroleum byproduct.

When burned, some can release compounds like:

• Benzene and toluene (linked to respiratory irritation)
• Synthetic fragrance chemicals that can affect sensitive individuals
• Phthalates, sometimes used in fragrance blends and associated with endocrine disruption

For women who are already navigating hormonal changes, reducing unnecessary chemical exposures can make a difference.

Your evening ritual should support your body — not stress it.

āø»

✨ A small upgrade

Switching to beeswax or pure soy candles is a small change that makes your home environment cleaner, calmer, and your evenings a little more romantic.

Sometimes the healthiest choices are also the most beautiful ones ✨🄰✨ by @ranjana

I’ve started to notice new anxiety during perimenopause…
even without any obvious trigger. (Although there can be SO much wrong with the world at the moment!)

This could be because estrogen helps regulate cortisol.
Less buffering = louder stress signals.

Support isn’t optional. It’s intelligent care. My meditation and movement times are absolutely essential to help me be able to discern when my intuition is guiding me (vs when it’s just a temporary glitch in my hormonal matrix). #perimenopause #hormones #womensupportingwomen by @ranjana
