Our womb remembers, acrylic on canvas, 2025~~~~~~~~~What Ive learned through the experience of free bleeding over the past few years.Our womb remembers.Our womb holds memories that even the world seems to have forgotten. A mere couple thousand years of (lame *ss) patriarchy/ capitalism/imperialism cannot erase this living memory present in our bodies.Although they definitely tried to. Telling us periods were dirty, and womanhood is a sin. (Bro you wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for us😂) But our womb memory is deeper than that. It remembersHow our ancestral mothers lived Through pain, anger and hope,How they prayed for usDanced hand in handSang to the skiesTalked to the plantsAnd received their guidance for healingForaged and grew their own foodsStood up against oppression and injusticeCherished sisterhoodEmbraced queernessHow they lovedHow they forgaveHow they gave lifeAnd lived through death.Our womb, portal between the seen and the unseen, holds all of this memory,And so, we only need to remember. ✹Mural work ✹壁画の作品(English below)人生初めての壁画を、新しくオープンした @libatei の壁に描かせてもらったよ💫テーマは「liberty」.「freedom」と違って、自分で戦って勝ち取る自由。そういうニュアンスで描いてほしいと言われ、制作にかかった。あの時期はなんだか激busyスケジュールで、3日間激集中してこれを描き上げた! みんな各々の作業を黙々と進める中、共有する時間は最高だったな。ていうか、描くのが楽しすぎて。ずっとずっと描いてたかった。ていうか、壁画描くのはずっと夢だったし。ということで、これからは、ドシドシ壁画依頼待ってます!!!みなさんも、鶴岡に寄る際は行ってくだされ。おニューリバテイ。そこにはおそらく未知の世界が広がっている。色んな意味で。未知で最高の世界が!!PS:パニプリ食べるの楽しみすぎ~~~~~~~Was blessed to paint my first mural ever at @libatei in Tsuruoka! A lifelong dream come true....The theme i was given was "liberty". The kind of freedom you have to choose and fight for.The time spent working on this mural was so precious....I really loved the process, and also loved spending time with these amazing people 💫Anyway, excitedly waiting for your mural job offers worldwiiiiiiiide yeyeye and most importantly, come eat at Libatei if Ur ever around Tsuruoka.
