I met a stranger in Agra who completely shifted how I view patriarchy.

While solo traveling, I struck up a conversation with a mother visiting with her daughter. What started as casual small talk quickly turned into a profound discussion on how patriarchy hurts everyone, regardless of gender.

But it was her breakdown of the three types of women who uphold it that stuck with me:
🧠 The Brainwashed: Those who genuinely believe this is the only right way to live.
🤫 The Compliant: Those who know the system is unfair, but find it easier to conform than to fight, often passing that compromise down to younger girls.
😤 The Enforcers (The most dangerous): Women who were suppressed their entire lives and, upon finally gaining a sliver of power, use it to control the next generation of daughters, daughters-in-law, etc.

That third category hit me hard. It is terrifyingly easy to slip into. The human desire for authority can quietly turn the oppressed into the oppressor. It made me realize: true leadership isn't about control; it’s about listening, considering other perspectives, and breaking the cycle before we become the very thing that hurt us.

To everyone hopping onto the 80s/90s Al trend
Please understand this is an environmental hazard.

These trends are capitalism-fueled PR games; we don't need to participate in every one of them.

Data centers are already incredibly taxing on our planet, and countries like India will bear the burnt of climate change. Doing this purely for entertainment feels hard to justify once you understand the cumulative environmental footprint.

पुनरपि जननं पुनरपि मरणं, पुनरपि जननी जठरे शयनम् ।
इह संसारे बहुदुस्तारे, कृपयाऽपारे पाहि मुरारे ॥

Born again, dying again,
and again lying in the mother’s womb;
This world of 'Samsara' is so difficult to cross over.
Oh Murari (Lord Krishna), through Your infinite compassion,
please protect me and lift me out of this cycle.

Why did this track just explain the entire universe in 30 seconds? 🌌
Replaying this until my next life. 🔁

When you try your best, but you don't succeed..
When you get what you want, but not what you need..
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep..
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face..
'Cause you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
What could be worse?

Lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones
I will try to fix you

Joined a riparian tree mapping session today to contribute in a small way to nature.
Spent the morning learning about the trees along the Mula River, recording their details, and understanding why they matter.
It was inspiring to see people giving their time and effort to document and protect these green spaces.

To protect nature, we first have to fall in love with it. 💚

Our tree mapping activities come with awesome bonus lessons from our expert volunteers!
Learn the secrets of the forest, like how buttress roots work or what makes a Fishtail Palm unique.

Come connect with nature and help us preserve it. Join our next tree mapping activity! 🌿🌳

150 plants. One steep hill. And a beautiful reminder that community is everywhere if you look for it. 🌱✨

This weekend at Ghoradeshwar Hill, our routine weekend plantation of 150 local, climate-resilient plants turned into a beautiful collective effort. Strangers who came to enjoy the hill ended up lifting heavy plants alongside our volunteer team, proving that deep down, we all share a pulse with the earth.

We are making sure that the future generations inherit a thriving ecosystem, not just a memory of one. The environment needs us now more than ever.

Drop a 🌱 if you're ready to step up, or DM us to join our volunteering group this coming weekend!
